Well... I changed it from Toyota Islamabad (Aabpara), so hope it was genuine, but it was about 4,5 years ago

Hi,

When my car is stopped at the signal or any other place and I keep the brake pedal is pressed, it vibrates and then stops when I lift my foot off the pedal. Is there something wrong somewhere?

I have recently changed the brake pads with original OEM Toyota ones in October 2013.

Sir g neutral ker dia karein .... vibration is because engine is trying to move the car and brake is holding it.
I never felt any vibration in the same scenario u mentioned.

Lol...thank for the advice bro, but you know what? I used to do this before for the longest time but after putting up a post and asking on PW many people even senior members advised to keep the car on gear and not to continuously shift to N as it will lead to gearbox problems later on.

Reason being that some solenoid (can't remember the details) gets disengaged when you press the brake pedal on these newer model CVT driven car....

I hope I've not been doing the wrong thing :-/

Maybe someone more knowledgeable can verify..............

I use bit of both, at times switch to N and at times keep on D.
Vibration never felt though alhamdulillah so far....
Waiting for advise as to which way is better....

Faraz I wud still wait for others' opinion b4 jumping to conclusion. Afterall its only a single article from google which I shared. But yes logically I wud shift to N so that my transmission and brake both are relaxed

I sent my car to Toyota , they charged for fuel injector cleaner (Genuine Toyota) but didn't actually put it in the car. Rather they said use it yourself ( I can only wonder why would they do that) Fuel tank is at more than half.

Now I have this bottle with me, I want to know if anyone has used it before and what is the correct way to use it? Any benefits anyone experienced after its use ?

Also if this is a way of Toyota to make money since my car is Belta 2010 model and ODO is at 21500 KM only... When I bought the car (unregistered) it was at 17000 (back in Aug 2013).

Appreciate any/all comments ,suggestions & experiences in this regard.

Well .... some people say they use it at every oil change. Others say they dont use it unless they experience injectors problem. Some say it cleans the fuel tank but chokes the fuel filter, others say excessive usage will worn out seals in some components.

Masla ye hai k banda kis ki sunay aur kis ki manay

Agar mein aap ki jaga hota to toyota walon ko 'No Thanks' k sath wapis ker deta.

M soch raha k rakhe rahoN.. since it has no expiry date on it.. jab 40K hit karoN to daal longa...{tab tak price might be Rs.5000 }

aik to itni khatarnak pre-cautions haiN.. e.g. May cause cancer, use in well ventilated area etc etc k buhat sanbhal k rekhna hoga :)...

Will let you know if & when I use it and if any improvement seen, might put in early in hope of improved mileage, currently getting 10-11 KM/Litre in KHI City traffic, so bit confused my self.

i buyed belta 1.3 model 07 and import 12 last saturday after selling my honda city 11 model
belta mileage is abt 75,000 and its 100% original mileage bcs it was imported my uncle.its in gud condition
till today i hve driven abt 400km and it include a trip frm sargodha to islamabad.filled its tank and now only 3 bars left.dnt u guys think its low average for it?
do u guyz knw any gud mechanic in islamabad?frm where i get it checked

Just for your info and for the benefit of all in the fan club....I got a reply from CT Scott who is a guru on the Yaris Forums given below:

Not that I have noticed...I did mine depending on condition.
