Btw any idea about battery? Which one is best? "Bosch" Came installed from Japan and after 3.5 years has displayed signs of weakness now...

Replaced mine with a dry batter in Jan 2014. Cant remember the name but will chk and get back to you. No problems so far.

I have told the battery dealer to look for Bosch otherwise he's a VOLTA dealer, i'll install that, he was saying that it'll cost around 6-6.5K ... I am not giving him my old battery...

Good Question, the indicator is still "GREEN" just like a new one.... Haven't thought about its use for now

I have replaced the battery, now the RPM has got lower... any idea why is that so? it used to be around 800-1000 now it gets as low as 500 and the car turns off sometimes...

because ECU has become reset and it will take time to relearn. I am not an expect but the solution is on the forums and I have read it. Search for it.

Mechanic says to replace the spark plugs ....previously had denso plugs not the iridium. Shld I just go for the normal denso plugs?

SK20HR11 is the OEM spark plug for the 1KR, get those. They are a bit expensive but are completely worth the money. You won't have to replace them for another 20-25,000 kilometers.

Problem now is that the car seems to be racing (higher RPM) and also jerks slightly sometimes, when removing foot off the accelerator pedal. Do I need to scan and chk RPM?

Reset the ECU by removing the positive terminal of the battery for 30 seconds. It should hopefully keep your RPM steady while keeping your idle and drive smooth.

Aoa. I have shifted from honda civic vti oriel 2005 to Belta for last couple of months. I m fully satisfied. Highly fuel efficient car.
