@ersal yes their isn't a big different in the prices of the 1.0L & the 1.3L, if you compare the fuel average there isn't much of a difference either the 1.0L gives around 15-17 km/l in the city and about 18km/l on the highway. On the other hand the 1.3L gives around 13-14 km/l in the city and about 15km/l on the highway.

guys...have just bought an unregistered belta 2007 in white colour. got it registered last week.
car is in ultra clean and untouched condition. has 19,000km on the odo. so far giving 13km/litre in city driving with AC. engine is a bit noisy when pressed hard. acceleration is decent overall but one has to get used to the CVT transmission which drives quiet differently than conventional auto. suspension and comfort is great. much better than local cars like corolla, city.
hope mileage improves with time. will post some pix soon.

Nicee, if you don't mind me asking how much did you get it for? Is it the 1.0L X, 1.0L Sport's package, 1.3L X or the 1.3L G selection? The engine does roar when you glue your foot to the floor that's because of the CVT transmission, it changes gear's at higher RPM's. The reason for your bad fuel average is that most freshly imported car's have cloged MAF sensor's and dirty throttle bodies. Get your MAF sensor & Throttle body cleaned then check your fuel average, I can assure you that you'll get a better fuel average. Happy motoring!

@Chinyoti the price depends on which varient and model you want. The varient'/selection's are 1.0 X/S, 1.3L X/S & G. The minimum price for a fresh cleared '07 model would be 12,00,000.

If it's a '06 model fresh import, it'll be for around 14,00,000-14,50,000. Original Tv/Navi/DVD player and built-in CD player model's vary.

The depreciation thing is just a trend here in Pakistan. Even before buying a brand new car for there own, everyday usage. The person ask's: ''Iski re-sale kiya hai''? If you want to buy a car for your everyday usage and you don't plan on changing it within a year or two, I wouldn't suggest you buy it for a re-sale/profit point-of-view.

Considering the fact that the import duty rate's are climbing up and up day by day. If, you want to buy a car for a investment point-of-view I would suggest you start with car's that sell really quickly for good money, in the market or through private parties. Buying a car that isn't that well-known in the market and then trying to sell it for a profit would get you nowhere.
