HI Murtaza, could you tell me please where I can find genuine parts of Belta in Islamabad/Rawalpindi? Specifically the wind screen.

awais go to sultan ka khu in rawalpindi....
u ll get the half cut belta there...
atta wali autoes has all the kabli spares....
i have been to his shop two three times just to check the spares.....

finally found toyota dvd player with navigation ,usb, sd card n above all in english version....
total belta's fitting same wiring and brackets.....
just pulled out the previous one and installed this one.
rear speakers(pioneer) and bak view camera(universal)
now working on side skirts and trunk spoiler....

I thought there's no activity going here...

Last week the consumption of my car dropped drammatically, a signal (one black box) from the fuel indicator was dropped just for about 60 Kms... Initially it was 100+ than became 90 than 60~70, so i went to toyota i9 yesterday for the tuning, the pic has improved, lets see the average... they charged me 800Rs...

which gives better economy "D" or "S"? i normally drive above 60Km/h and i donot try to calculate 0-100Km/h timings...

Last week I also changed the engine oil, I have put ZIC A+ in it, is that okay?

There's a serious problem of road clearance in belta, i'll be soon going to replace the tyres (only)
Only because no budget for the rims :s

Please suggest, economical and good shop...

That's abnormal, what did the guys over at Toyota 'tune'?

D is for normal everyday city driving. Shift it over to S if you want to change gears at higher RPM's and increase accleration response. Calculating 0-100Km/h timings doesn't make sense. It's a economical family sedan not a sports car.

Zic A+ is fine, I only use Shell's Helix Ultra 5W-40. Now I am going to try Mobil1 5W-50.

U got all this done by toyota motors or someone else...? WHAT TYPE OF CVT TRANSMISSION OIL YOU USED...? thats very important...!!
Plus did u get ur engine tuning and throttle body serviced..???
Whats the exact milage of the car..??
Also keep the Tyre pressure at 30psi in all four....

Sorry, but got no clue about the CVT oil. All I know is that I got it changed from Toyota Motors I-9, and they must have used the correct thing.
Engine tuning and throttle body service was also done, from Toyota Motors. I changed the oil first from Toyota, then Zic A+.
Tyre pressure is 30PSI in all four.

Any more suggestions?

Check the spark plugs, if they're burnt. Replace them as soon as possible.

The plugs aren't burnt. Got them checked today. Did need a bit of cleaning though, and got them charged. Nothing else. The mechanic told me no need to replace them at the moment.

How about fuel injectors? Could they be malfunctioning/not working properly? Or could the fuel filter be choked? As far as I know, all this counts. Need expert opinion though.

The injector nozzles could be choked up, get them checked. It can be the fuel filter, btw what is the current mileage on your car?

I have very recently purchased a Toyota Belta 2005 G-grade full option with push start and new 15" Rims and radical tyres. The car total milage is 54000KM. The car condition is fabulous, but only two things are worrying me for now: The car has only 01 RFID based remote, and if its lost then the car is useless!! does anyone have any idea where to get a duplicate remote...n for how much? and also what is the expected battery life of remote.....as i have no idea whether remote batteries have ever been changed or not by previous owners !!! The other thing disturbing me is that when 5 people sit in the car....the back wheels time n again touch with the car body !!! Please if you could advice me on my related issues, I would be highly obliged!!! At the moment I m in Karachi City!

Hi, congratulations on getting a G selection Belta. There is a guy in Karachi who can make you a duplicate OEM RFID remote. I'll have to ask him first though, the battery lasts about 2 years.

These JDM cars hit the speed-breakers even if you have 15'' wheels on. Whenever you see a speed-breaker go across it diagonally it won't hit the under-carriage of your car.

I have met a guy here in Karachi DHA Ph 2 ext, he has a showroom / workshop (Expert in car Electronics), he says that first he has to get the remote (maybe import) then he will have to program it, and for that the car should be there....This all will take atleast 10 days (Min)....Now my issue is that I have to leave for Quetta on 12th Feb.......therefore I wanted a quick solution !!!!

Well on speed breakers, i take the car diagonally....n no problems.....Now the real issue which i faced just yesterday was when the car had a total load of 5 person.....three on back-seat....as i drove on main teen talwar road esp the underpass.....ups-n-downs the back car wheels touch the body several times!!! I was experiencing that as the surface of road changed from flat to curvy .....n as the shocks moved up-n-down...the cars wheels went on touching the body !!!!!! Now the issue is that, I have to take the vehicle to Quetta from Khi...thats almost 700KMs journey.....The car will carry 3 persons plus baggage!!! Thats i m worried.....becz the road isn't smooth at-all !!!

Lastly, what price do you think this vehicle should have been brought for? 1.3 (2005) G grade (silver color) with all accessories including DVD, back-camera, fog lights etc (54000 KM total mileage ) !

@Murtaza, please can you kindly confirm what will be price of getting+programming the duplicate OEM RFID remote for Belta? and can it be done in a single day?
