Hi guys, I recently replaced the wiper blades with original Denso ones. Denso basically makes OEM parts for JDM vehicles. The OEM ones had a little surface rust on them and the rubber on them was getting old as I hadn't replaced then since we bought the car back in 2007.

So, I got these Denso wiper blades for 1,500rs from Yazdani when the car was gone for front and rear bumper re-painting.

The wiper blades are great and the exact size, here are the accurate sizes:

• Wiper arm #1 (small): 350mm, part number: DTS-014
• Wiper arm #2 (long): 600mm, part number: DRS-024

*Remember these are the OEM hook type wiper blades, they lock into place with the help of a plastic hook.

Hey, love the wiper blades. They look cool. OEM is OEM I must say Btw can the GPS device on the dashboard come to any use here. I also have the same on my car and was wondering?

I see that you took your Belta out after a week. Is it ok to not use a car often. I thought in order to keep a car in good shape you need to use it often. The reason being I wanted to get a cheaper car like an FX or something when I have to go to crowded areas like saddar where parking is a prob and dont have to take my Vitz and risk getting it scratched / dented

fits in the hole (covered by lid) in the front bumper just below rt head light. screws on there so that u can attach tag wire to pull it wen car breaks down

Thanks! Yes, OEM is OEM nothing better than that. The GPS can be used when different navigation software companies introduce maps for OEM Tv/Navigations from Toyota. You have a GPS device but you don't have a Tv/Navigation system? The GPS device comes only in the variants which come equipt with an OEM Tv/Navigation system.

Well, I did start her up on Wednesday for 10 minutes then shut her down after she was all warmed up.

You should atleast take it out for a drive every 7 days, otherwise the rubber parts on the car will start to crack and become stiff.

A VW Beetle would be a better opinion then getting a FX. Keep the Vitz for formal or weekend usage if you don't want to use it everyday.

Thanks for the replies. I think the previous owner installed an after-market Tv/Navigation screen as I can see the sticker park on teh dashboard just above the steering wheel. I could also change the front panel and install a OEM toyota tv/navigation screen later if needed.

Could be, yes of course you can. The built-in CD player will come out and you'll have to fit the DVD/2-din console. I have one for sale, have a look at the link below:

A Beelte won't give you any problems only if you maintain her accordingly. No, it's not expensive to maintain.

No coilovers, just Tein lowering springs. Looking to convert mirror covers to OEM mirror indicators. I see in my door I have a green and white wires which I believe are for the indicator. I checked a 2008 with indictors on the mirror and the wires were the same.

For those looking to upgrade wheel size I am running 205x40x17 - wheels are 7 inches wide, offset 42. Got alot of information from yarisworld

I got my brake pads changed a few months ago. There is still a chi chi sound from back brakes when car is on slow speed and rapid breaking is done , like when driving in bumper to bumper trafic. I got the breaks serviced and tightened and the voice went away but its back after 2weeks. I know that beltas brakes have chi chi voice as indicator of brake pad wearing off but with new why is it still happnen???

Well this happens when water goes into drums and then get mixed with the brake dust and forms carbon deposits and contributing are the brake shoes they are of average quality
The sound also comes from my car too but clean it at home No biggie

Have you opened up the rear drum brakes and checked the condition of the brake shoes? They could be worn out and are you sure the sound is coming from the brake shoes and not the brake discs.
