Nope..Got that changed last month. Except for transmission oil change, i have done almost everything that was suggested in this forum. The mileage is still 10.5/L

BTW....I am planning to used Mobil 1 5w-50, fully synthetic oil from next oil change and use it for 10,000Km. Whats the feed back on this??

What about spark plugs?

Mobil1 5W-50 is THE BEST in my opinion, very very good motor oil. 10,000Kms for an oil change is a bit too high, 4-5,000Kms is the max one should replace the engine oil and filter no matter what the brand is. But that's just me, it varies from person to person.

i dont drive my car much ...... car is perfectly fine but from few days i been feeling my steering wheel is bit heavier than it should be i dont know what is the problem car is 07 30.000km done so any idea what it can be no indication light is on everything is normal ...its not as hard as non power steering but still not enjoying so any advise plz

i just been to toyota and they said its fine nothing wrong with the car the guy just checked manually sat in my car moved around the wheel for a bit and said its coz you got big tyres i told him they were fine before so how come suddely started now so he said its soft so dont worry i wonder what it can be ??????????????????

Wait a minute, what is the tire profile you're currently running? The module inside the EPS system needs to be replaced but I seriously doubt this is the case.

Hello everyone I have Toyota belta 2006 model registered in 2008 (1KR-FE 1.0L). Its millage is 57000 KM. Recently I have been facing problem of jerks/bucks during drive and whenever I stop at the signal, every time the car went off especially on AC. I use to change engine oil at 3500 KMs. Can anyone give me suggestion to resolve the issue or recommend the workshop where I can fix the problem

Jerks as in, while shifting through gears (P-R-N-D-S-B)? The car shuts off as well? Are you running a CNG kit?

I got the plugs replaced 2 months ago. Same as recommended by u.
BTW...I have a brand new swift also, and i have used mobil 5W-50 in first oil change. But many swift owners are of the opinion that recommended oil for swift is in the range of 10W-30 so this should not be used. And that this is a heavy oil and not recommended for new cars. Whats your opinion on this??

Not using CNG. During normal drive, car heavily vibrates and I have to give more race to normalize. sometimes there is sound in gearbox as well. The car shuts off only when I stop at signals or anywhere else. Maybe the race is very low & needs adjustment. is there any reliable mechanic or workshop for belta tuning.

Are u using high octane?? Go through the threads and u will find what needs to be changed and u can get all of these done your self

my second problem........right now m using the orignal tyres but using these my car is touching almost every speed breaker....what is the best solution to avoid this, should i go for big tyres i mean instead of 65 or may go for 85 or 95, or should i increase the Alloy size..plz tell me a best solution without compromising the performance...

My Platz had an ABS issue. A small piece of the ABS thing was changed only in one tire. Just one thing, one place. Why then did you have to undergo such a lot? That cost me a little over Rs. 2000 for the product and this, m talking about 2010 when parts were cheaper than today.

Is your vehicle 1.0l or 1.3? Normal package or S (Sports)? 2WD or 4? Just to let you know, Farhansa had the same issue and found the fuel filter was choked. The first Belta owner in Islamabad by my records, Abmalik suffered lower mileage than you on his 1000cc.

thanks for your prompt reply. I have a 2009 belta 1000cc . normal package. Its hasnt been used much since i bought it, since now i am on vacation, which is why i couldnt reply to your post before. Basically, the only thing that i changed since i bought it were its oil filter, oil and air filter. It still on its completely bald 165/70 r14 tyres. Maybe i should take it for tuning or check up when i get back home.

AOA....welcome to the club. Pls post pictures of your ride.
Regarding the user manual, i am in the process of buying one from ebay. Total cost will be in the range of 80-90$. Currently, there are 4 of us who are sharing this cost between us. If u want to share the cost also, you are welcome. I will let everyone know when the manual arrives, and will make photo copies for everyone.

Regarding your other inquiries, pls go through the threads and u will find answers to all your technical queries.

I don't know about the Swift. Heavy oil? You mean the viscosity of the motor oil? Your Belta isn't new, is it? 5W or 10W is fine, I recommend Mobil1's 5W-50 or Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 both are fully synthetic motor oils and are the best out of the others available.

Have you replaced the spark plugs till now? Your car has either worn-out spark plugs, choked fuel filter, blocked/lazy fuel pump.

Plug was RS 950 each i think. Yup..Heavy oil means more viscosity. 50 in 5W-50 stand for viscosity. Many people on pakwheels forums are recommending ZIC XQ full synthetic or ZIC A+. Has anyone had any experience of ZIC oils. My Belta has 47000 km on it. I think i will go for Mobil 1 from now on.

Guys...I think the manual will be delayed a little bit. The guy who had listed the manual on ebay has disappeared and has delisted the manual. Maybe has is travelling or on vacation. Anyway, as soon as he lists it again, i will get the payment done and get it shipped

Sorry for the delay. Actually, my brother who is in Australia has paypal account and he was travelling before, so he could not make the payment. But as soon as he reached home and contacted the manual guy to make payment, he has disappeared. Anyway, i am hopeful that he will appear back soon and we will get our manual shipped

i use zic A and sometimes A+ for my city 2004 manual
I find it better than most if not all local brands. Plus its SN grade i think, compared with shell helix ultra which is SM, so it may perform better under extended use
4000+ nikal leyta hai A+. but Iwouldnt recommend much more than that.
The crap that Honda dealers put in, manufactured by Total, starts losing its properties after 2500km ,..
