How much quantity of CVT oil would be required ??

I'm not sure but I think its 6.2 litres. A can holds 4 litres. murtaza_murti will be able to confirm this for you.

Found the oil and the gasket. But the O-ring is not available in Rawalpindi. Toyota Rawal don't have it as well ..

Oil (4-ltr) : Rs 3850/-
Gasket: Rs 1550/-
O-Ring: N/A

What to do ??

I will check and let you know but I think its about 6 litres that you need

Just had a chat with my Auto Mechanic. He is Mr Khalid, 0312-5269002, workshop by the name of Auto Experts at Golra Turn, Rawalpindi. The gentleman is giving complete guarantee that if there is a problem in the transmission due to this Oil, he will change my complete transmission for free.. Also stating that, he has been using this oil in cars of all ranges for the last 14 years and is a direct importer of the oil ..

Now this gets my head spinning ..

I already have spent Rs 2650/- on the above oil .. and after reading this forum, have purchased Rs 5500/- worth of more oil and gasket ..

Confused confused confused .........

I dont know about your mechanic. All I can say is that the Toyota Belta, Vitz etc have CVT transmission and so you cannot use ATF oils in them. He is guiding you wrongly or probably doesnt know it himself :-/

Finally, with the kind consideration and help of @BubyDuby007, thank you sir, I got the car's transmission oil changed with Toyota Genuine CVT-TC oil ..

6 liters were used. Bought a new can of 4 liters and BubyDuby007 was so kind to offer me 2 liters of oil that he happened to have lying around on payment ..

Also got my hands on a copy of the Belta manual.

Had to pay a lot, but guess, my car's tranny is happier than it was yesterday

I went to @BubyDuby007's mechanic, Mr Moin ex Iqbal Autos, F-10 Markaz.

He open the transmission chamber, drained out the oil, cleaned the filter, replaced the chamber gasket, screwed it back and then used some kind of oil pump to fill in the oil .. To my surprise, the transmission took all 6 liters of oil ....

I was really tense on my way back home, worried about the possibility of an overfill, but nothing happened and the ride was as smooth as can be.

As per Moin sahib, when these JDMs are despatched to Pakistan, oils aren't topped up and when transmissions are drained, only that much oil comes out that is left in the transmission over the tenure of running. Thence, mechanics usually fill up with 3-4 litres of oil, not knowing that the transmissions can take more oil ..

That's the story up till now ..

dear pakwheelers aslamo aliekum i have a toyota belta car 1000cc and i have a problem that is i feel loss of power after some time . when the car is cold the pick and acceleration is great but as the engine heats up a little i.e after driving for 50 km the pick and acceleration both are zero , the car struggles to pick up , i got a tunning and the problem was still there

now after long research i came to a solution that was according to me the after the engine heats up a little

hot air is sucked into the air box as this area is really hot so that could cause loss of power , here the option for me was to add a cold air intake but i wanted an alternate , so wat i decided was to add the air box of suzuki cultus
and after setting up suzuki cultus air box it would look like this

so i wanted to ask all the experts that will this be useful in any way , will there be any increas in power and is the location correct beacuse it is away from the exhaust area so it wont suck hot air , please suggest me what should i do should i keep its original air box and keep on driving it the way it is or cultus air box will be helpful

All the above conversation forced me to add my experience .....i went to toyota garage in lahore ....i asked one of the mechanic what is the procedure to change the cvt oil and how much u put it in belta.....he said we use a pump and it takes around 4 liters.....i told him that cars manual says over 6 liters so how you gona manage with 4 liters......so i said to him that mean quite alot oil wil b left over in the chamber below the screw level ......coz what if i dnt want to open the chamber .....i was worried what if they damage any sensor in the chamber while opening it ....i dnt want tht leaking problem as i faced this with local corolla.......so i was left with not sucha conviencing anwser .....so i am kind a confused what exactlly to do whther to go with how they advise with 4 liter or make sure six liter goes in.....one more thing which he said we fil until it pours out from screw that shows that its filled up ..... hun ki karaaaannn dats all i can say ...lol

Please don't even think about getting that Cultus air filter assembly. Have you got your car scanned yet?

You said you got the 'tuning' recently done. What did the mechanic exactly do in the 'tuning'?

the mechanic cleaned its plugs and throttle body according to the mechanic there was no problem in car and he said the pick is okay but i dont know i m just not satisfied . . . . i agree that the pick is great for for sometime but later when i push the accelerator really hard the engine makes throttly sound but slow acceleration and thanks i will consider ur advice of not putting cultus air box

Get it scanned and check for errors before doing anything else. Did you check the condition of the air filter?

The 1KR-FE Vitz does make a 'hmmm' sounds when you push the accelerator, which is common.
