The bolt through the bumper side covers doesnt look good. It should have one on the inside.

Yeah i know there are still small hooks to take care of, but don't have time to do so.

WS , the car is in my daily use since a year. But few items are still missing which i tend to find by any means, if someone has a lead to this do let me know

1-) Arm rest that came in SL version of 82

2) Outside door/body trims(specifically of 1980 model not 1982)

3) Original/Kabli Front grill with a slight pointed from center

Shersha & Magziline markets have Taiwan made which are good in quality but are flat straight that spoils the original look.

PWs help me with this if possible.

There's a guy at shershah who stocks ke70 parts only. He had the center console you are looking for. May also have the trim.

Initially when handing over to Ustaad, I strictly said I want quality & originality inch by inch and wouldn't compromise on it. However I knew he was famous for his detailed work and a master of his work
But I never knew he would take it so seriously !!! )

So it was taking more time than I expected aur Ustaad apni dhunn me hi lage rahe ...... . . . . . .
And I decided in the meanwhile look out for the planned things in the wish list.

Shershah scrapyard trips;

I was looking for 5 speed gearbox, original seats - one without headrest, power steering, fender side mirrors(auto)

After days of search & busy office routine I ended up cancelling converting it a power steering reason;

1. Read a detailed post by Xulfiqar bhai in a thread; https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/corolla/209254-power-steering-ke70 which was quite explanatory that a KE70 doesn't need it if its in a good condition.
2. As I was building this gem for long route trips so it was dangerous to convert it to power.
3. Above all I was restoring my car to original specs. so didn't wanted to ruin the already fine condition one to its mod.

Posted below pictures to a post back then in PW to get original seats in good condition but received no response plus couldn't find one so decided to stick to my stock ones.

Having fender mirrors & considering Karachi's traffic conditions would be a nightmare to handle those. Plus i got hold of worn down stock mirrors that didn't clicked me at any point so ended up with stock excellent condition crown 87 retractable auto door mirrors.

While collecting items from Plaza I found a pathan who traveled from Quetta on his 82 SE version. It was all original ..
