Hello!
20V in a 80 Corolla RWD is not a game of dolls......and also its also not recommended for daily drivers.....!
you need some nice big Differential for it along with T-50 Tranny....! then mounts are issues as for A series but 20V is wider so its distributor might be hitting firewall...so either need to route distributor from other side by altering it or have to cut down firewall.....!
well 4AFE can also hit firewall......need to check...maybe it won't as its got smaller dimensions than that of 4AGE...!

I have an 82 corolla which I bought in 82 and own it since then..it has done 235000 km on original engine and still runs like silk.I love to drive it.I have its original owner'manul and its workshop manual too which I bought from england....can I help in this matter

b/w....Its a car which can be a life partner i know as we own Starlet 82 since 86.........it was taken out zero meter in 82....4 year driven by our uncle then we buy........! and still it runs good.... : )

Secondly I have good news. I finally bought the corolla 1980 and its in good condition. Its petrol 1300 cc 4k original engine and CNG is already installed.

All suggestions are welcome. Will post the pics soon.

Once more your expert advise is needed.

Is there anyone who makes custom dashboards. The dashboard on this car is not exactly in mint condition and it does not have ducts for AC or Deefoger. Also give advise on as to either I go for a custom one or a stock one that is available in the market as Kabli one.

where r u getting the kabli one?.. go for it if its in good condition its gonna cost u much cheaper and if the leather is a bit torn u can get that replaced with new leather it'll be as good as new!

Dash board for 80 corolla will be expensive and hard to find. Its better to redo the existing one. Ducts for AC and defogger were a luxury at that time and were not available on standard models. Do share pictures with us.

I think he means that there are no ducts from the blower to the A/C and defogger vents..

The kabli I would get from some kabari bazaar and it costs around 18k.

Memphis got it right. It does not have the ducts for AC or Defoger.

If there are people who make custom dashboards and would make one for the 80 corolla I guess it would be cheaper than 18k.

One more thing the car has a working/chilling AC, the dabba AC. Its also almost as old as the car but is working remarkably well. Blows out air, after some running, like its coming from a freezer. But there is no Heater which would be very much needed in the winter as I am travelling via Murree every weekend.

The dashboard that comes for about 18k has the ducts for both AC and Defoger.

Any advice?

I got these pics somewhere on pw but didint remember the link nw but thats n nice car n installling a gud engine can show u the real thrill of rwd E-7 series.Also if u get this engine then it can b fix without any alteration as its the same series engine:)

Its really thoughtful of you. I donot intend to change the engine for the time being but I will definately think about it in the near future.

I dont think anyone in Pakistan would be able to fabricate a dashboard for your car, best bet is to get your existing one repaired or get a Kabli one.

I think you can get the ducts from the scrap markets as well..
