This 5afe is not that powerful, its good daily driver. Yesterday i was coming from motorway one nissan sunny 1993 with GA15DE was easily able to beat me, 5AFE couldn't catch that Nissan it was fast. Although my car is in very good nick but i think nissan was powerful than mine one for sure.

Yes one of friend has 7afe in his corolla 1994 he gets 12km in local with ac and 15 on long with ac 120km/h. But its pulls much better than 5afe.

Bhai toyota Claims that there higher displacement engines give better mileage then lower so bigger the displacement better will be the mileage and it makes sense.

Thats with all cars not only toyota. Like if you have 2E in ae90 it will hardly give 10km in local and 12-13 on highways that too with careful driving. But the same car with 7afe gives much better throttle response and economy both

Bhai your taking 5afe easy although GA15DE has about same power figures.
Still 7afe has also about same torque but difference is it start giving all it got from much lower rpm then 5afe/4afe.

Everyone thoughts the same bhai actually difference comes in rpm bigger displacement has bigger torque for example if we consider speed if you going on 60km/h on 4efe your rpm is 4k just as example while with 7afe it's 1.5k....so it effects the mileage.

No i am not taking it easy as i have driven 5afe for around 1 lakh kms. I know what 5afe is capable of. The thing is 5afe initial pull from 0-120 is good but after 120 its not that good, although i have taken it to 170km/h many times. That nissan had two people in it and in mine only i was sitting.

Yeah i also heard the same for 4afe that in first 3 gears 4afe beats 1nzfe but after that 1nzfe takes the lead. But it also depends upon power to weight ratio.....which in your situation sunny has better

That sunny was going on but I stopped at 170kmh as its dangerous and also invites cops to give me a ticket.

I have seen many 1NZ ae90s here in pindi as 1nz is available in much quantity and cheaply but 7afe is very less. Most of 7afe are auto. Manual ones are rare. I saw a 7afe in rwp but it was without tranny and without ecu. Kabariya was insisting to run it on 5afe wiring but I wouldn't touch 7afe without its own complete wiring and ecu

Han gii don't pick 7afe without complete wiring although you can change the transmission in case it came with an auto.
I came to know that someone had installed c160 gearbox with 7afe you should also try that it will fit. C160 is 6 fwd gearbox comes with 4age BT .
