I have C52 with my 5afe and same fits in 7afe. But here 7afe is with one or two sellers but very expensive. 75k for complete setup, with manual gear and complete wiring and ecu. With adjusting old its for 65k package and labour electricion charges around 10-12k and another 4-5k for engine oil gear oil power steering oil etc around 80k kharcha for clean 7afe total

People here mostly swap 1nz because they get only engine they use same 5 speed tranny and 1nz with complete wiring and giving old 5afe is around 40k for engine and 10k for labour eectrical etc means can be done in 50k but its not worthy to instal 1nz in ae90 as these chasis are made for AFE or AGE series.

Yeah absolutely but A series engines are getting older and rare day by day.
Vesa 80k is still reasonable.

1NZ-FE with cvt is awesome...mileage and performance both are good

I wouldn't recommend putting 1nz in ae80 or ae90. 5AFE or 7AFE are way to go for AE chasis

Can you check in bilal gunj if they have kabli radiator of ae90 in good condition and for how much?

I didn't say you put 1NZ in e80 or e90... I just said 1NZ-FE with cvt combo is a awesome.

Just for the sake of learning I would like to ask a question. You were implying that you can put any a-series engine in ae corolla then why Toyota went into trouble of making three different chassis for 5th,6th gen FF corollas (ae80, ae81, ae82, ae90,ae91,ae92). They could have just made one chassis for all a-series engines?

5afe and 7afe are now old bhai finding one in neat condition is headache....and still there's no guarantee. That's why people are now falling towards nz/zr/zz series.

I wasn't talking about cvt swap...I saw discussion about 1NZ-FE and gave a comment.

Have you tried it?? what was the difficulty in wiring it up?

Friend of my friend tried swap in charade but stuck in wiring actually it came with canbus....after trying he switched to manual. And also fitting is difficult.

You can find 5afe in "neat condition" as long as you are willing to pay the price...My friend recently swapped 5afe with auto transmission into pkdm ee100... Engine was from a 80K driven halfcut.

Make up your mind On one side you guys are saying nz swap is not recommended for ae on other side you are concerned about availability.

I agree with you 100% that newer platforms are more readily available and are available in better condition compared to older platforms. Plus they are more efficient.

Exact the same question i asked him that if we change complete wiring total a to z then what....but he's saying the same.
