When I asked the honda people at the time of delivery, they were like "Sir yeh company sy aisi e ati hain etc etc"
Actually in 2011 I was unaware of that cabin filter thing, I came to know after a year that my car also have a place for cabin filter and I was like "I just drove my car for a year without knowing about this thing" Khair its not a big deal.
Then while taking a delivery of my other City, I immediately asked the guy to check if the filter is there or not ? And his reply was what i wrote above.

The instrument cluster (meter) seems dull compared to the latest cars. Please suggest what decent options could be exercised. Are there after market clusters available for this model. Moreover, do I have the option to have a bolt on / grip to grip replacement of another model / car?

I'm currently utilizing Toyota's Dezon 20w 50 engine oil. However, I like to increase engine oil change interval since I like to replace oil filter on every oil change too. I plan to change the current oil after 3k km, but I feel if I use Caltex Delo Gold Ultra 15w 40 the interval could be extended to 4k km. My engine is in good health with 127k km on the odo. Pl suggest.

A sound like 'chu chu chu' kind, not loud, comes and go from the timing belt area probably more when it's cold both during idle and driving. Although it even appears sometimes while engine is warm.
Also a 'tak tak tak' kind of metalic sound also comes during driving especially at low rpms while accelerating seldom probably from the same timing belt area.
And i feel the frequency of both the above sounds increasing with time slowly but surely.
I'm unable to identify the cause. Please support me resolving the issue.

Just to add, the vehicle is in top shape with 132k on the odo and fluids and belts replaced by the previous owner.

Went to Darvaish Autos bro. Met Siddiq sahib. Very nice old fellow. He told they work on petrol engines not diesels. Anyhow, he tried to figure out the issue, took a test drive too.
Couldn't make out anything. Said your vehicle is perfect and outstanding. But I'm not satisfied

I always go to Toyota capital for periodic maintenance of my 2 OD 2008 model..they are experienced I guess?

I went to Toyota Rawal Motors. They say we don't entertain below 2000 models. Moreover they say it's Japanese, so hands up!

i had faced several issues in same car with 2c diesel and couldnt track the problems.

If he couldn't trace it, then it could possibly be a denter issue, something might be slightly loose and would be colliding somewhere and resulting in the noise. If you could be a bit more descriptive or could post a video of it, might be able to help better

Plz tell the millage of 3c deisel. is it better then 2c which gives 18km/L.
