Hello, Just an update on recent stuff I did. Well with this inflation, haven't been able to do much. I managed to buy a new front bumper. Also thinking of keeping it black and not painting it. Other than that, changed the oil, and air filter yada yada. Also turns out that the guy that serviced my engine had fit in fake Denso plugs that only lasted a year barely. This time I went for Bosch sparkplugs. I also fit in 1zz injectors.
BONUS INFO FOR 1.6 SE SALOON OWNERS:
Now I know 3zz engines don't have a lot of margin for performance upgrades however, there is a small mod package on a budget that you can do to it in order to gain a slight HP increase. What you need is fuel injectors, intake manifold, and throttle body from a 1zz 1.8 Altis engine. These mods are all bolt-on fits so you can do it on your own. Make sure the manifold does belong to the 2006 variant of the Altis. Doing so will put you around 126 bhp or somewhere near it (stock bhp on saloon is 109). I only added the injectors and did a cold intake mod on my car and I could already tell the car's throttle response was more responsive compared to stock.
CONTINUATION:
So yes I was gonna buy a 1zz manifold and throttle body as well. But then gas got too expensive. This slight 1zz part swap modification does come at the expense of high fuel consumption and I noticed that just by adding 1zz injectors. I was getting 9 kilometers at best even when shifting at 2000Rpm max and driving really slow :(. Anyway Here is a picture of the new bumper.
THINGS THAT STILL NEED FIXING:
Fender repair on both sides
Body touchup for other minor dents
New Side Skirts
New Seat Covers
Repairing Dashboard
New mudguards
New Headlamps and Fog Lamps with bulbs.
Might get TRD Lowering springs since I hate the gap between the rear wheel and the fender.
Lastly a Paintjob.
Damn, that is a huge list .__.
