Hi PW Experts,
I have gotten some starting problem in my Toyota Corolla 2006 2.OD Diesel, sometimes when i sit to start my car ignition turned on but self was not rotating so i had to hit the self starter motor with something and than the engine started.
I went to an electrician he said the bushes needs to be done in the self motor so i said ok, but even after the bushes problem sustained, than he said we need to put a relay in starter motor so it can take complete electrical current so we did it.
After that the self starter problem was fixed but 3 days later my car started starting problem and even with full rotation of starter motor it doesnt start in the morning and after a push it started and whole day it was starting fine, after 2 consecutive days of this issue i went to the mechanic who told me to change the glow plug so i did,
problem fixed for 3/4 days and today morning again the same problem. and started with a push, i believe glow plugs are the problem again.
Please tell me what exactly can be the issue, do i need to change my starter motor or something is wrong with glow plug wiring?
Also i have done my Nozzels and diesel pump just now but car milage has reduced to a very poor level of 11/12 which was giving my fine results before the nozzels done. it was giving me 15/16.
Please suggest me some good fix as i am loving with this car.
Engine is in great condition no oil consuming or power loss.
