I have a Corolla Fielder model 2007. Original lights are halogen lamps, but they are quite dim on the highway.
So I put in 300w Chinese made LED lights in it. Visibility is much better now. But is it a wise decision? I mean is the housing designed for LED lights? I positioned the LED bulbs to point to 9 and 3 o clock positions as per my reads in various places (vendor knows nothing and give no guidance). I am curious to know the change in light beam pattern and discomfort to other oncoming drivers.
Any advice, experience would be helpful.
