Toyota Corolla 2010 - Shift Over to Automatic Transmission

Dear Members,
We've have a Toyota Corolla, Gli Model 2010, 1st Owner, purchased as MANUAL Transmission - Mileage todate is ~116000 KMs.
I seek reviews and professional advice on subject idea that what operational challenges would I face if I intend to convert this to an AUTOMATIC Transmission !!

This is mainly to accommodate domestic requirements i.e. ease of driving for parents & sisters

It's better to sell the manual and buy an automatic transmission instead of converting this one.

one too many complications, electronic vehicles require too much effort for such mods, and too much money to get it done correctly

By conversion to automatic transmission u will ruin the resale value of the car.
Secondly, the efficincy of engine may not be reliable as u will obviosly buy second hand engine and that is not gauranteed.
Thirdly, the illiterate mechanics may not do perfect job.
Better sell your manual car which will fetch upto 12.5 lac and buy Axio 2007 jdm for 15-16 lac.
