Which is the best place in Rwp/Isb to install Air Conditioning in Ke 70 1981 model having stock engine.And what would be it's estimated cost?

estimated cost would be around 25-30k... but you will face issues time to time bcz nobody works honestly

steel bumpers would be round 2000/pc.
good quality plastic/fibre black extended ones would be round 15-20k. depends on your luck, can get a cheaper if some kabariya is in good mood
head lights 2-3k
tail lights 1600 chinese/taiwan. 3k a used old one of good quality.

you can go for 4afe with stock . try with an auto Trans.

yes, exactly. no ac works upto the mark where you can say even 9/10.
i've built ac ducts but the pressure still seems not very good. just average.

Only option i see is to change to a powerful coil wch one ac mechanic suggested
or as a last option use a dabbay wala ac that old one. but nowadays that too is very expensive. upon checking i got an estimate of 16-20k for complete job in which coil wud be changed and an electric fan be added with the shroud/engine pulley fan.

Can any expert suggest that installing an electric fan along with the shroud/engine pulley fan would be wise option to attain good cooling inside the cabin. im sure the car engine temperature wud surely be cooled down as compared to pulley fan bcoz in traffic and idle state. the engine tends to heat a bit.

i bought a very clean 1st owner 82 corolla in 2015. i did install complete new unit in same year but after few months it given up "zero cooling" and ac mechanic said "sir gas beth gai hai dobara charge kreayen"
did charged it again from same person and after 2-3 months it given up.
next year 2016 i went to another ac person. he said "sir china ke gas charge ke hai cooling to ne ho ge" mein apko USA ke gas charge kr deta hun. wo b 2 say 3 months k baad khtam.

I asked both persons to check leakage but they said all is ok.
and i sold the car 02 months ago at throw away price due to little issues which could not be traced out.

my personal experince is i have been charged 3 times Rs 2500 for gas + service charges in 02 years and needs another charge in start of this season.
u might be lucky lol... try searching for a good person.

believe me ive also seen chilled ac. i have a guess it might be on a 5k(1600) engine).

last i went for charging he said k install vitz coil then cooling wud be behtreen.
other one said Probox ka coil aur blower lgao . air flow wud be strong plus the cooling.

luckily i had original cooling coil of 82 the only used part in it. coolinig was better than new cars with its genuine 4k engine. try to find its original cooling coil for better results.

both of them have kabli body parts of old corollas

dont have their contact right now. but both of them are famous body parts dealer in chah sultan. you can ask from any parts shop.

4k engine with gear box would be around 45k

Salam fellow 82 enthusiasts, my 82's in the shop and will be getting a full makeover starting tomorrow iA.

I've seen a bunch of posts with people having installed 7Ks, 4AGEs, 3Ss and 1/2JZs into their 82's and wanted to get some info on them in regards to pricing and current as well as future headaches I would be likely to encounter.

My mechanic suggests getting the 7K but the 80HP really doesn't appeal to me. However I don't know what speed I'll be able to get out of it. If it's sufficient, then I wouldn't be completely against it. But, if in the same or roundabout price and/or effort I can get a different engine with much better performance, I'm all ears. To note, my main requirements are ease of installation and maintenance. Power and speed are secondary priorities.

ease of installation and maintenance is definitely anytime 7k or 5k. but for more power figures people go for 3sfe. parts are also available for 3sfe.
i wud suggest to stick with K series either 4k 5k or 7k due to their reliability and easy to work on.

Ah, thank you! Please correct me if I'm wrong, there are no "new" engines being made in the 4/5/7k models being made and the best we can hope for is an engine with minimum wear, yes? As such what year or how used an engine should I be looking for preferably and are there any markers to indicate use or year on the engine which I will be purchasing?

Second, I read on another post that someone was pushing 200km/h in their KE70 with a 7k. Do you think these figures make sense? If so, I would be perfectly fine with a 7k.

Third, will my car still be RWD if I upgrade to the 7k? I would prefer to keep it that way.
