Hello guys,

Nice to see some healthy discussion regarding this awsme classic model (KE70).

My name is Arbab Musawir and em from Peshawar; InshaAllah in the near future i am about to start a project of building my 82 COROLLA SE and i need some suggestions and tips regarding the following.

1. What engine should i swap with the existing stock engine and for how much? (interested in 2000cc or 1.8)
2. Which Gearbox is compatible with the engine to be swapped (preferably auto)
3. Where can i get complete suspension in accordance to the engine size.
4. Where can i get new best quality spare parts like (tail and headlights, bumpers etc)?
5. Installing an auto gearbox will be a good idea or not?
6. Any other issue which i can face during the project, please feel free to share.

hi, i posted these pictures in some other post of KE70.

I took these pictures for seats as i also wanted the same quality, but in karachi there's literally a scarcity of good ustads who can do this quality of work. i wud suggest u if ur in peshawar, buy original stock seats from junk yard . that will be more useful & easy

In terms of weight yes it will be better than 3SFe but have to do a bit more work due to FWD configuration.
But the Torque 3SFe have its own feeling .

Better go for a 7A-FE from a AE-112 rolla instead of 4A as it have almost the same weight but more recent and good acceleration.

But have to find a good T-50 tranny to match with that motor .

All depends on how much you wanna invest .

I m facing poor headlights visibility... Installed relays, changed tubes, generator is automatic. Headlights are genuine. What else can be done to improve visibility?
