Toyota Corolla 96' Engine swap

Dear All,

I want to swap the engine of my old 96 corolla. It currently has a 2E carby engine and I wanted a recommendation on the engine I should choose.

I am personally thinking of going for a 2NZ FE but I want to know if a swap with this engine will be successful or not.

4afe=1.6
7afe=1.8.
2nz-fe swap is also possible but no of alternation are more than above mentioned ones as it is not geniune engine of this model.
