Salam,Mein ne kal apney uncle ki 1.6 test drive k liye chlai... Jb light foot pr chlai tw smooth thi but jb slightly hard foot kiya tw jerk 40 se 70 k drmiyaan 2 jerk feel huay hain. Iski wajha kya hai?
Gear changes perhaps. A/T transmission me gear changes k jerk honge I guess.
Mein ne 1.5 aspire b try ki thi but us mein ye cheiz ni thi.
1.5 aspire have prosmatec auto transmission1.6 corolla altis have super ect auto transmission
Btw, those jerks are gear change, and I have driven 1.6 Altis, it doesn't give jerks, it gives you a feel of gear change. Jerk is quite a big word for it.
1.6 Altis Auto has a lovely smooth transmission.
4 speed ECT in Altis 1.6 gives smooth shift when you gradually push the pedal, in sudden push you will feel the jhatka but then it gives you power to accelerate, like gear is changed after 5k rpm, in normal push gear changes around 3k rpm.
Rubber band effect, thats if you try to accelerate it more in a small time
