thanks for the reply, someone is offering hard top automatic 1.8 2014 cruisetronic corolla of marron color for 2o lakh without any touching, what should i do? buy it or go for grande?

You can. There's always market for off-demand cats too as they are less. Simple, supply-demand rule.

obviously grande if pocket allows
20 may grande nae milti koi ab waisay -
so if u r getting it cheap - it will sell away in same manner as well.
this hard top is still better then any 1.6 altis any day! (just that 1.6 one has a very good resale)

Make sure that its cvt is fine and cvt oil was changed timely. If not working properly, then even a kaabli cvt of this corolla cost 80,000rs.

Grande and 1.8 cvt have same fuel economy figures. I have 1.8 cvt though. Depends upon how its mantained.
Mine is 90k driven and I have changed cvt oil of this car like twice. This is what my car was giving after 230kms from thokar on M5 at 110 cruise.

You can clearly see it improved instead of decreasing. It was 17.5 at 175kms on trip meter.

I made total trip of 1300kms to south punjab which included city and villages, and my car fuel economy meter was showing 14.8km/l at ravi toll plaza again.
