Toyota Corolla Altis 2012 Power Steering

AoA Respected Members, i have corolla altis 1.6 2012. Few days ago, car turned off and power steering light turned on with a message in dash "Check Power Steering". After i pushed ignition, car starts but does'nt take gas and turns off immediately. While giving some rest around 5-10 minutes every thing goes back to normal. It happened almost every couple of days now. Please Help.
NOTE: i consulted an electrician he said "Fuse box has C-type fuse in it" is faulty need to replace that. But i am not convinced yet. Fuse's image is posted in comment section

It happens in peak summer heat right? It's a chronic issue with Altis of this model and it's related to fuel pump. You need to change it's fuel pump with original fuel pump I had same issue with mine as well.

Please make sure to get original pump as only that will work Chinese won't work

Dear Members, today i drove around 15 km and stopped a couple of time for 20 mins. but when i switched on, there were no lights at all, i pressed battery terminals and all was okay but again "Check Power Steering" error appeared and car turned off suddenly.
On a second try, all went well.
NOTE: weather is very pleasant in fact a bit cold today.

i consulted a couple of electricians, they straight away refused. As today it happened again and weather is awesome today as u know.

Yes I too am facing this problem of check power steering in the peak summer heat or when I turn the AC on. Please guide how to troubleshoot.

I had same car and trust me this error is not related to power steering it's related to fuel pump. In hot summer day this happens and if you open your fuel tank cover you hear hissing sound which is actually release of pressure and you will also smell fumes. Please get original fuel pump and this will go away.

Your mechanic is right there is problem in the fuse box whenever this happen you also check your radiator fan it will also running at full speed. This indicates that there is a loose wiring or carbon deposits on wiring near fuse box.

It also happened to me in my corolla xli 2010. Whenever it happens you can press or shake little bit the fuse box all signs and radiator fan will be normal at off position, and your car will starts again.

Today i left car AC on for around 15 mins,
When i reved it, same happened but without "check power steering". After leaving it for a while it got fixed

Please trust me its fuel pump that has gone bad if you to try to hear it must be humming loud once its gets heated it stops and as soon as its cold it will start the car. Also always keep at-least half tank of petrol because petrol keeps fuel pump cold and its life is increased.
