Toyota Corolla Altis Fuel Average

My car Altis 1.6 auto 74000km driven today gave me average of exact 13km per litre from Lahore to Faisalabad and back, 337.6 km with 25.95 litrs of petrol, with metre showing avg speed of 45km/hour as it included city drive of 50 km as well further half hour stuck in traffic on lhaore motorway toll plaza. Motor way was only used on return from Kot abdul malik due to fog. And mind u with six adults and two kids avg wait aroumd 60 to 70 kgs. Plus boot full of luggage. Is it good or not. This is first time i have taken this car out of city.

My 2011 8th gen civic manual s more fuel efficient thn my 1.6 altis 2018 (16k driven). The car is a fuel guzzler. Probably because of 4 speed auto tranny.

8th gen civic 3 days ago gave me isb to lhr and lhr to back isb avg of 17km/l.

My 8th gen civic PT on full tank does 300+ kms 6.8kmpl average while on same route my grande does 700+ kms 13.5 kmpl average. These averages are driving in city.

In city the 8th gen does 12.5 to 13 happily (without air con) and the 1.6 altis is doing 10-11ish inside city.

Grande has cvt so its supposed to do better. The car in talk here is 1.6 altis i believe.

P.s you need to get your 8th gen civic checked. Mine did 400km in half talk from lhr to isb. A and does 270-310 in half tank inside islamabad local driving. 8th gen civic is my daily runner

On motorways or highways it’s extremely fuel efficient does 15 kmpl at 120km/h and secondly your car is manual manuals are prone to give better average compared to autos and rest the car is in perfect nick only the average in city is horrible.

Bhai log, car in talk was mine altis with conditions explained above. Is it good or bad. If bad do i need to consult mechanic or u have any suggestions

And also om Motoray little did i travel was givinh 16.5 per litre at 110 with cruise control

You should still consider to double check few things as 6.8 inside city is a bit too much. Double check the catalytic converter.

Mine is giving around 10 in city, with 1 to 2 gears speed. It is abive mentioned civic giving 6.5

My Altis 1.6 2015 gives 11.5 in city and 12 to 14 on highway. Fuel efficiency drops as speed increases from 100. Best efficiency between 90 to 100 kmph. At 120 speed the average drops to 12.5 kmpl. Its bad above 120. Once I drove at 160 on M4 and had to refuel before I could reach Lahore.
Your car is just fine. Enjoy. Remember its 3rd gen engine and 4 speed transmission.
