I am selling my lovingly kept ride. Late 2016 model, sparingly used. First owner, two-digit Islamabad number, scratchless, token paid till June 2018. Second car at home, never gone outside city. 100% original, not a single wire cut. Fully maintained through authorized dealership. All service history log maintained. Alloy rims, immobiliser, climate control, sunroof, rain-sensing automatic wipers, luggage tray, rear reclinable seats, original Toyota leather seats. Air bags for driver and front passenger. Remote central locking and trunk opener. Only driven 10,000 kms.

From Altis 1.6 to Grande 1.8 CVTi

It was never on my radar, but somehow I sold my 2015 Altis 1.6 AT and wanted to by the recently launched 10th generation Civic but its build quality at launch repelled me though I was attracted to its looks, awesome shape and features, however, I could not convince my self to put some 2.8 million rupees on it. So it is here Alhamdolillah. Many friends said don't buy the same car and the only difference was of just 200 cc and some extra goodies, but drive was same, feel was same. They were not…

going for civic or facelift Altis??

I like the shape of Civic and was thinking to try it, but horror stories-- also about 1.8. Turbo-- if you are lucky-- would not knock, but you cannot take out of city as it needs Hi Octane, otherwise a terrible engine knock.

Many of my relatives have reported overheating issues and plethora of faults in their units. Though the resale is good due to looks and featured offered, there is no peace of mind after spending nearly or above three million rupees.

So facelift it is. This Grande did not give me any problem or had any fault from day one and I really enjoy driving it. It is still as good as new, but I am looking forward to an upgrade if I get a good price on it.
