2+ 4 (2 front, 4 back). Parking sensors in the cross
Even stonic has 4+4 (front + back)
Haval has 6+6 (front + back)
Also Peugeot 2008 has 6+6 (but everyone forgot about It!; the peugeot that is)

Cross could have been priced even lower given the benefits indus is receiving for hybrid. But I guess they must've done some market research prior to deciding on a price

I noticed they are advertising ground clearance lower then that of HONDA City.

Honda City was advertised as 171 / 172 MM Corolla cross advertised as 161MM

BTW, CSUVs only sit high, their ground clearance have never been an advantage, IF you see Sportage from the back the rear suspension arms are very low.

Its even less than Grande holy hell . One would expect it to have more than the sedan version.

i agree on the low sales part, But every manufacture offering exchange offers have different stock for exchange offers.

in 2022 i exchanged Alto for Cultus got delivery same day, When Cultus booking was closed and was selling on upto 300k premium + 100k transfer tax

Sold ALTO for a 100k lesser then market.

yes but it ends here ..giving a small 1.5 litre engine that too non turbo makes it very underpowered vehicle..its like honda atlas always finds ways to cut corners and dissapoint the buyers due to their own decisions whereas in this corolla cross good features are provided but the design/engineering of the car makes it have cramped interior space something which indus cant change and it becomes a downside of the car.

yes and atleast they gave parking sensors unlike some competitors like atlas which dont give then. In Pakistan major cities traffic ,parking sensors are more useful then adas(auto braking) which is a nuisance rather then a feature ..your chances of being rear ended become 97 percent.

honda city is deliberately raised from the back by atlas which increases its clearance but even then its bulging out engine sheild diminishes all the usefulness of that ground clearance.

Has anyone test-driven the PKDM cross, How is the suspension response?
Is it soft like Grande or super soft like Yaris?

@fastian04 I say you make a detailed review of your test drive.

I think many would have taken test drive here as people have booked as well.

1.Suspension is like Grande. Yaris has unnecessary bounce. I don't call it softer, its bad to me in Yaris. Rear jump is evident like corolla as poori feel ati hai due to its height and torsion beam.
2.Seats are best vs any PKDM toyota. I call them close to 1.6 altis seats. Grande seats were not as good as altis fabric ones.
3. Visibility is excellent for driver and steering is excellent in feel.
4.Plastic quantity is maximum in any sub 10 million car but thats how cross is available anywhere.
5.Brakes are way better than sportage/tuscon. There is no sponginess. Gives confidence.
6.i already discussed rear legroom and thats a huge problem for anyone who will sit at rear
7. Foot brake is a museebat as adat nhn hai ajkal kisi ko. Big let down
8. Loved the key fob finish
9.car is very graceful in person too from exterior
10. Power window buttons are non glowing and feels shadeed frustrating..cant imagine how bad that will be in night.

Engine noise is too much on flooring and response is just like HS… sportage feels better somehow in raw power

The most surprising thing is that according to peeps here and PW new car page , corolla cross ground Clarence is less than corolla grande????
One would think the cross would have more than the sedan version.

I think the highest ground clearance point of grande(at the rear I think) is higher then cross and that's what is advertised.

Same was discussed in Sportage thread.

Imc advertises the rear (higher) end of grande and fools everyone in my opinion.

Yes as per specs its like sedan but being higher seat position its felt fine. Mujhey extra raised main koi interest bhi nhn. grande kay baad ye koi 2 nasal agay lagti interior main.. jitna fazool wo lagta ab after 10 years

Mazay ki baat hai in my 3 years, grande touched more speed breakers than other cars. Reason is the bounce. Torsion beam has much higher bounce despite looking higher

what about civic ? its lower then grande how does it perform on big speed breakers.

cross has 17 inch rims opposed to 16 inch in grande maybe due to its suspension setup it sits lower then sedan corolla.

Was parking an MG hs at a relatives house , it has a bad incline where the porch starts , MG parked fine , later tried to park civic X (even tho they said it'll hit from below) and the front to mid part hit badly from below so had to back it out and park it at their neighbors house.

Even their pkdm alto ags scrapes a little bit, just a bit , only after this experience I'm weary of ground clearances lol.

In normal driving I have not experienced any speedbreaker hitting my civic x ever
