I dont think it backwards; the difference/ limitation is the transmission. Most australians reviews do not like the DCT in either the H6 or the jolion. The DHT is supposed to improve power delivery and economy of driving.

I have not driven either of the two DCTs so cant say, but from what the reviewers (australian) say it isnt the best implementation of the DCT

city has less weight then cross also less moving parts so also do take that into account .. a manual city may beat an x oriel in acceleration all due to less weight ..power to weight is good.

brake boosting and launching also puts increased stress on drive train components and the transmission in these family cars ..unless its a sports car like porche(which has built in launch control) brake boosting isnt good for these type of cars unless one does it occasionally.

I don't do it. Yes it puts stress but unless someone is boosting at 2 bars in June/July, there is nothing that risky. Exact response is calculated by using full options anyways

They probably got 1 or 2 units max units for full payment, on partial booking its definitely April for X variant
Hardtop is easily available for Jan from everywhere but again 9on full payment , hardtop has veryyy few bookings

We might start seeing Jan deliveries by the end of this week.
