Everyone has their own preferences and what they value. I value features that I use every day, which the local version of the Cross severely lacks. Of course it is cheaper because it doesn't have those features but it isn't a worthwhile tradeoff for me.

This is why the H6 HEV sounds like a much better option, but then I've also heard rumors that due to the success of the H6 HEV, Sazgar is also considering launching the PHEV variant which has AWD in some markets. That sounds like a much better option.

Well saw a review today on YouTube and its 11.68 on draggy.. surely its slower than Grande/Sportage as i felt the same way in drive. Mileage is a big plus of someone droves 70-80km daily else it wont cover the price differential. Considering its price is 10 million and after the battery goes down overtaking will be very slow on highways

any one coming a stock Oriel will find it very slow too. Ye masla hai. But Sportage is also under 11 on dragy. The actual issue is 11.68 is due to electric torque and wont be available on highway actually.

Draggy:

Oriel: 10.35 normal , 9.55 with launch control on stock..
RS 9.46 normal: 9 with boost control on stock...

Comparison should be with Sportage Tuscon and MG. Tiggo is damn quick and Haval is similar.

Nothing is as accurate as Dragy, so unless dragy is used, proper comparison is not possible. meters are not that accurate. It's good that now most are using dragy

I have already mentioned previously in this thread. Haval doesn't stop spinning wheels till 3rd due to its monstrous torque.

I think Munj didn't launched it properly. Someone did it under 8 sec for 2.0 liter AWD version using dragy. HEV is faster than AWD which clearly means it's doable.

Munj never launches cars and that's fine. The reason is in the real world normal response matters. Brake booting and launching changes situation in every car and all results change big time.

AWD is actually faster than the HEV due to distribution of all that torque to all 4 wheels. Their are aussie youtube videos that show the same 7.xx for the AWD and 8.xx for the HEV.

The Hybrid transmission in the HEV is the limitation; AFAIK it cant do AWD. the PHEV H6 AWD is likely not a HDT but since the only place i know where it is listed is Argentina and Thailand and google translate fails on both
