I have an ECU mod on my C-HR that came pre-installed which improves the eco when cruise is engaged. Last year I did a couple of trips to Islamabad and averaged between 16-18 km/L in peak summers with climate control set to around 22 °C at full blast. This included bursts of speed up to 170 km/h.

Something like that can likely be installed on the Cross as well since these mods were originally for the Prius but ended up compatible with a lot of Toyota Hybrids.

I don't know about the mod, but I have seen people doing pulse and glide on highways to improve this mileage up to 18~20 kpl.

This is basically what the mod does as well when working in conjunction with Adaptive Cruise. So say if you enable it with Adaptive Cruise set to 120 km/h, it would pulse up to 130 km/h and then glide the rest of the way. But since it's all electronic, it happens very fast and you don't have to do micro adjustments.

That's actually less than H6 HEV which is heavier and uses Chinese "Crap " tech. (PW review)

I addition to that, I read somewhere whose link I couldn't find right now. The article mentions Toyota employee visits BYD factory in China and he was blown away with their manufacturing process. He said I wish I could leave toyota and work for them. There is so much to learn from them.

I know many people will bash me for this but it's the truth which industry is gradually accepting.

Haval is next MG. MG has the same hype few years ago with 1 year booking time and now no one buys MG.
You will see after couple of years no one will buy these Havals.
You can buy one and praise all the tech it has but after couple of years when the maintenance time will come and half of the tech will stop working and no one will be able to repair that then you will know the benefits of owning toyota, honda

Haval is not only sold in pk but in lots of other countries and for longer time too. They don't have any complaints.

MG was a hype. It came suddenly and gone. Haval on the other hand is gradually capturing the market as people understand the product. Its reliability score is much better than MG worldwide.

HAVAL h6 was not in my budget so didn't consider it , never drove it so can't comment but I did have an MG HS 2021, 3 biggest drawbacks of the car
1)7-8Km/L fuel average in stop and go home to office commute
2)Hi octane requirement , I used to mix Hi octane with Normal but on fuel lid it was written 95 octane , so always there was a fear car might end up with problems.
3) Car didn't increase in value as much as other vehicles (Civic Grande Sporatage Tucson) , Had I bought any other car when I bought my HS I would have gotten a better resale.

I feel like this car had demand when fuel was around 140-160Rs but fuel at this price its resale has become very slow, you can find a decent 21 molle MG HS for 62 , when it was launched in 2021 it was also selling on own at 62

HAVAL does have great presence in KSA , how it performs in PK in long term is yet to be seen.

Back on Cross, installed these LEDs in bumper reflectors , they turn on with parking light.

i can give you more examples. what happened to Changan Alsvin? i remember when it was launched people on this forum recommended Alsvin against yaris and City. Now Yaris and City are everywhere but no one buys Alsvin. These cars are only for 1,2 years max.

There really isn't a comparison between H6 and HS.

The MG HS was the first MG SUV under SAIC along with the ZS and is still in it's first generation. It's local partner also had it's own set of issues in Pakistan.

The H6 on the other hand is in it's 3rd generation and is one of the most popular vehicles under GWM which itself is the largest SUV manufacturer from China. It's also sold in around 40 countries and so far has been well received everywhere. On top of that, Sazgar has been producing, and exporting vehicles from Pakistan for a while now.

I'm seriously considering it as my next vehicle since the Cross ended up being a disappointment for me personally because it's not much of an upgrade form my C-HR and is actually inferior in a few ways as well. I'm just waiting for a couple of months to see if Cross makes a dent in H6 sales and Sazgar drops prices or introduces the PHEV.

Even if haval is next global bmw, people living in pakistan will never trust Chinese brand in masses, thats just reality
And i agree people pushing haval will also buy toyota honda no one want a dead weight of 12 mil
Hyundai is way better then chinese in terms of brand value but they cant sell anything except for sportage
And some sonata
And most of them are obselete gen cars

I still recommend alsvin. It's value for money. And there are lots of them even in my run down district.
