Do you know why tesla is in freefall? Guy who praise chinese vehicles is trying hard to save his own car comlanyLong debate but anything elon said doesnot mean shit in pakistan for chinese cars market
Anyone thinking of upgrading to 18" wheels?
I'm not a haval fanboy but china also overtook Japan in car exports. Anyways, this is enough off topic discussion.
Not me for sure; 17s allow for more rubber (60) which translates into softer ride, 18s would need 55 or 50 (comes with 50 internationally) which isn't appropriate for our roads IMO
The rims design could have been improved tbh, I might just wrap my rims in gloss black, not sure how reliable they would be and after how long they might start peeling off , but the rims design is the major let down in this car's looks.
Agree on the design bit; this is the most basic alloy rim design that other markets offer (including canada i think). Wrapping might not work well in the long run IMO as that might not be able to withstand our summers, detergent and brush scrubs by service stations for too long. Easiest solution is perhaps to let them be and let them grow on you
But it sucks that they give these basic rims even in top variant , we spent 10 million and still no wireless charging and some decent rims with imported tires , heck i'd pay a bit more if I had the option to get the 18'' OEM rims!
Aray bhai yeh to abhi se khulna shuru hogai
something to rejoice, but not fully cuz the cross in Australia is FL 2.0 AWD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW61qGYrNEU
I am planning to paint rims in glossy black.. They might look giod as silver are very basic and old fashioned
You have to sand them in order for the paint to bond properly. This is something you have to decide whether you are willing to do on the rims.
What about spray paint? I did it on one of my previous cars and it worked pretty good.
In order to have the best longevity of paint, sanding is a must. This is what pros do.
Any truth in the rumors/speculations that the price might increase in the next three month? A toyota dealership rep in Lhr indicated that the current "introductory" price might see an increase of around a million in March.
This is introductory price ao definitely its gonna go up.. But when.. Its not clear
I think plasti dip type of rubber coat spray would be good.
Which colour is your car?Waiting to see results , if your in rwp/isb do let me know the location too from where you plan to get them painted
I am still searching.. HAVAL showroom are doing it but they are costly charging 30 thousand
although id advise against painting brand new rims, i once got my old rims properly re-painted from the rim/tyre market on rawal road. they did a decent job in pretty reasonable charges.- if i recall correctly, i was charged around 4k for four 15'' in 2014.
