Guys - My Altis X 1.6 is hardly driven 4000 Kms (first oil still not changed) and I can hear the VVT rattle, It's random, sometime on cold start, sometime when car is warm (like parked for 15-30 mins). I know lot of people faced this issue without any solution from dealership, What you suggest, I will raise it with dealership anyway.

Guys. A random basic question. I've never bought or sold a 2nd hand car. My query is, if while selling ur car to not well known party / friend, like using olx or using pak wheels, what if the buying party demands for a driving road test. Can we trust enough for that. What about car snatching risk. I might be sounding a bit amateur but just wanted to know what are the standard norms when it comes to checking the car while buying/selling.

When selling the car, I follow these things;
1. Meet at some place which is adequately crowded like petrol pump or a market, usually don't invite someone to my house.
2. Don't allow test drive, only if I trust them.
3. Keep the keys with yourself.

Yes that is also important. I remember that I was trying to sell a 2013 GLi, the guy literally came along with a big boji in which flour or wheat is sold in General stores full of cash and wasn't even ready to transfer the car. Found out later that he sold the car to someone else without transferring to his name and the new owner contacted for the transfer so there are good and bad people out there. But keeping a watch is very important.

Just came across a post of Pakwheels on Instagram.
Toyota is introducing a new varient of Altis 1.6 X with features of Grande such as Push Start, smart entry, LED headlamps, sunroof and automatic digital climate control.
They mentioned an estimated price of 36 Lac Ex-factory. Don't know whether it'll have CVT or not. I think it's a sign that we can expect a 12th generation Altis 1.6 with similar features.
