It should last after shampoo application too.. But I haven't tried it yet... @autophile is using this since a long time and has used shampoo as well so he can comment better..

Buy any PH Nuetral shampoo (which most of them are) and you'll be fine. PH Nuetral shampoos don't strip off waxes or sealants etc.

Get meguiars synthetic sealant 2.0 or Nanoskin Hydrophobic both are excellent for protection purpose,extreme hydrophobic.

I generally use Meguiars sealant with my Swissvax combo for best shine and protection.

I was watching Suneel bhai owners review vdo of Liana and he mentioned there is vdo of FL gli which has been compromised with immobilizer hack.
Any one know about that ?

Basically suneel manj analysis is very week I have watched that video car didn't actually start it was only hot wired to initiate the self motor but immobilizer prevented the engine from starting this happens with every car equipped with immobilizer, Honda City has immobilizer key separately in the key ring if it is away from the ignition switch, engine does not start only self motor get activated, as far as I noticed in the video engine didn't start if someone has different information he can also share.

Something weird happened yesterday on the motorway. Going from Faisalabad towards Lahore, there was a construction area near the first petrol pump. Not too long after that area I heard something big and loud hitting the car body above the tyre. So I thought it was some piece of stone that usually happens all the time on the motorway but soon after, the car started to feel difficult to steer and really soon after that felt like going out of control, luckily I had already started slowing down to come to a stop so there was no issue.

But to my surprise, the tyre was completely flat and upon inspection the tyre sidewall was damaged because of sudden loss of pressure. And the tyre had quite a big hole in it. None like I've seen before in any of my cars

My question is, would a tire sealant be a good solution in such a scenario? Would a tyre pressure monitor system help to see if there is some sudden loss of pressure?

According to Toyota Connect app, the trip from the fuel station to the point where the car got out of control was around 8 minutes.

Would recommend you to go for a brand new tire instead of getting this one repaired. Or if it has to be repaired, keep it as your 5th tire to be used only in emergencies.
And yes a tyre pressure monitor will do the job.

Thanks God that you are safe. May Allah Protect us all. Your account indicates that the tyre bursted. But the question is that whether it was due to tyre defect or some thing hit the tyre initiating the burst.
Tyre bursts are so sudden that I guess a tyre pressure monitor warning wont have any use.
Similarly a sealant cant do any thing if its a burst.
Did you claim the tyre from the dealer ship? And what about the rim? Is it ok?

Seems a cat eye hit or someone at pump made a cut on the tire. There have been such incidents.

It could also be some metal piece on the road which cut the tire and as you said noise came like a stone hitting the wheel arch.

Once in Islamabad in heavy rain I had a similar sudden tire flat and when I checked a broken spanner had pierced through the tire.

Rule of thumb always fill, top up tank from city before getting on the motorway.

Good thing you and your car is safe.

I also had to travel from Faisalabad to Lahore last Sunday. Road was not that clean i also once heard some noise but i was at 40-45 KM/HR.

For sure some construction material is culprit. Try to change tyre dont repair. TPMS can be installed costs around 10k once i saw on aliexpress.
