i am buying either a new xli or gli , or maybe gli auto , but the only thing i am afraid is that GLi auto performace i dont want a car that will struggle . any advice and yes i am paying on as i need it asap and can wait for booking .

Gli auto is sluggish, fuel economy is poor, worse variant of corolla in terms of fuel economy, gives 8-10km/l within city like Lahore and 14ish on long.
On the other hand spend some more and get 1.6 Altis, lots of goodies with better performance and fuel economy.

If you are buying with own ab altis 1.8 is better option than altis 1.6 as the own on altis 1.8 is zero or very less. Whereas own on 1.6 is high. I remember when I got mine altis 1.6 with own was same as altis 1.8 with own

Also altis 1.8 cvti gives better petrol average as it has 7 gears instead of 4 in Altis 1.6

True that. I have the same one. 2016 altis 1.8 cvti.
It doesn’t have gears, it’s a cvt. cvt have unlimited ratios. Fuel economy by far is the best,
11-13 within city
15-16 at 120km/h
17-18 at 100km/h

50% increase in price. After December 100% payment shall be applicable which is 2 lac rupees. So it's ur choice whether to wait for next year and pay 2 lac and also own or save ur money and get delivery in this year.

Prices are going up in december end or January start, grande 1.8cvti will have 30lac invoice price.
Pay own and get car now instead of booking it, and ending up paying more.

Right now there is no own on 1.8 since i am getting my car in 10 days. Booked on 23rd oct and car is arriving on 3rd november at dealership.
Besides 1.6 is now available in 2019 and if you book a 1.8 CVTi it make sense now because the price differential between a 2018 1.8 CVTi and 2019 1.6 will be 140K along with the own since the 1.6 is now available in the month of april.

Advan DBs are quieter and more comfortable but have heard that they are softer and thus get worn out earlier.
Btw, are you planning to get Advan DBs in near future? If yes, do share your experience

Wear rating isn’t dependant upon tyre softness bro.
