So i guess it's better to not get it opened as it's not all the time in my variant and you can hear it hardly while driving at a very low speed. And well the music helps

The ajeeb thing is the dealership also said to turn the music on low volume to avoid. Ye tau wohi baat huee .... banda apna aik arm katwa de thinking he can use the other. Anyway everyone has his own preferences, if u are happy with little noises then ok, Im not so I got them fixed.

The car is amazing otherwise just a few issues which can be handled but frustrating sometimes.

There are people who wake up every morning and lick their corolla cars even though knowing that it has issues and keep on praising it. In the end, its just a car and not your liver or a kidney ! But should be well taken care of, ofcourse

For all those who've been having rattling issues, what is your tyre pressure?

I have been having rattling issues myself and I just set the tyre pressure at 30 instead of 33 or 35 and it worked for me.

31 PSI all four, nitrogen filled. Comfortable and less noisy

Hi. Plz guide. Is it ok to pay for registration at the time of bal payment as i would be happy if registration is done before i take it out from showroom but then am also confused what if i had to reject the car at delivery time. Won't it complicate things like rejecting a car which is already registered in my name. What do u suggest?

If you can avoid paying that is good. Even if you pay theres no harm.
I dont think you can reject the car without any reason. Why would you reject the car?
In case of any damage to the vehicle, spot it before signing delivery paper and it will be taken care of.

Keep in mind to do all this before signing the delivery notes.
Happenend to me. They were asking me to sign which I said i will only after seeing the vehicle.
Infact when the car arrived its front bumper had scrapes on the underside. At first they tried to convince me to get a kalam. Wtf? Then when they had ascertained I know what I was doing, they simply replaced the bumper with an another new car of same colour standing for delivery. Most likely it would have gone to an unsuspecting buyer.

So i got my steering repaired (some bushes and cross) for corolla 2010. I deove it afterwords and though still some issies with steering but the engine sound inside the cabin increased. Here is a pic. Is there some sheet missing from there ? Or can be some other issue?

Yes. Got it. My only point was that in case of some fault rendering replacement of car (who knows). So in that case, obviously new car has to be re-registered with new engine no etc and this could mean loss of registration amount. I think i shouldn't pay for registration till i sign the delivery sheet after thorough inspection (I've got a check list with me and will also hire Pakwheels insp team specially to check any repair/repainting. I was only thinking of this pre registration thing to avoid an additional visit from Gujranwala to lahore (booked it from lhr due to early delivery month)

Suppose you reject a damaged car and get a new one youll be given a new invoice and then you can get it registered. You wouldnt be driving out of the showroom with a damaged car anyway.

Plus registeration can be delayed as its somewhat still at your disposal. You can pay no worries.

the whole car whines and critters like a mule. my house ramp is not at all inclined yet getting on it with this car is one cracking experience lol and on the other hand the 8th gen civic does NOT rattle or creaks from anywhere :S ever. even on potholes (Apart from DHUG sound of its stiff suspension that too if you cross fast).

I guess the doors and dash need WD40 solicone spray shots. ill try that. did that with 2018 cultus and fixed all the rattles.

My friend owns 2018 feb delivery altis 1.6, today he got an email for renewal of his insurance. He was asked to pay 70k for it. And he was asking me to confirm if tpl insurance are looting him ( in other words zada to ni mang rahy) is there any other company which is offering less for insurance and is as reputable as tpl ( tracker also included) . Im attaching pic . Looking forward for any expert to kindly explain this sheet and give their valuable advice whether to continue their tpl insurance or switch to any other.

dukh hota hai yaar bohat saalon baad Civic se corolla pe shift kia hai ( i had reborn and rebirth before) aur local toyota waale experience kharab karne waale kaam kar rahe hain. Gaari bohat achi hai lekin lekin local Toyota waale cheap out kar ke hum sub ka experinece kharaab kar rahe hain.

Rattling and squeak issue comes by default in 11th gen, if you experience any 10th gen corolla you'll not experience such noises, even I was fan of corolla's smooth and quiet drive till 10th gen but then happened 11th gen with horrible noises which start to come within 1000 km of drive. Hope this issue will not occur in 12th gen.
