10% increase in tax and price of 1.8 likely to go up by some 300k. non-filers have been allowed to buy cars to promote the 'own' business otherwise it makes no sense. BTW yesterday filled up my half tank and odo was showing 347km done. that means grande FL will do at least 650km on a full tank. looking forward to the new infotainment system if the news is true.

The 10% excise duty is being implemented on cars with 1800cc or greater than 1800cc engine capacity. No Toyota Corolla, Honda City, Civic, BRV, and Suzuki cars being manufactured/assembled in Pakistan falls in that category.
