I know, but for govt employees tax is deducted at source, so can't be adjusted easily, however refund can be claimed but lawyer says at present govt is not willing to return any money. Delaying and delaying. Rs 50k WHT on honda city paid by my mother as filer in 2015 is still pending refund

No refund is a black hole. Your office should adjust, mean deducted less tax, the rule is for all govt and private offices.

Why after 31 March? I filled on 3rd Jan 2019. My status was already as filer from 7 Jan 2019 to 28 Feb 2019. Lists are re freshed on every monday

31st March is the last date. It doesnt mean banda filer uss kay baad banay ga. Jab last date 15 Dec 2018 thi tab bhi jo jo date say pehlay file kerta tha next monday ko wo filer ho jata tha

This is also not right. They new filers of next FY will start getting updated from Jul 2019 provided their last yr return is also filed. In case 1st time filers, their name will appear on 1st March 2020
