Keep grande. Yaris is no where close to grande. Buying yaris will be like downgrading from civic oriel to city aspire.

2. Lower Taxes

That would be a horrible decision..ur Grande, even without climate control is far superior..bigger and better engine and cvt is already there

But the gadgets in Yaris r more impressive than grande14-15 but no match of riv of grande.
However new will be new so Yaris 1.5 is wise decision I think .

If i were at your place, i would have never preferred New Yaris over Used Grande. However, it's a matter of personal choice. If your priorities are "Gadgetry" and "New", then definitely buy Yaris. Take the decision that gratifies your heart but do it with a very clear aim.
