With all due respect they're guiding you wrong. All engine oil comes with 4.0L or gallon packing worldwide. 2zrfe engine needs 4.2L oil and toyota never made 4.2L packing. What's done is done. You need to mantain optimal cvt oil level now.
Just do one thing, open cvt oil drain nut and plastic leveling tube from inside with 6mm L key. Minimum quantity that comes out from a hot cvt is 2.0L and maximun quantity that comes out is 2.3L. The oil that you'll get would be lower then that. Top it up with toyota cvt fe oil or you can use aisin cvtfex 1L can. I would prefer toyota cvtfe, you can use remaining oil at next cvt oil change.
How much you need to top up now? Measure the quantity that comes out from cvt. Top it up upto 2.2L max. Pour it back inside. Your oil level will be normal with just slight mili-liters of variation in underfill/overfill.

Another idea that as 3.8 litre was changed through pan open process. So Now why not drain process be adopted and new 2.2/2.6 litre fe cvt oil be infused in tranny without opening pan again which would result in change of almost 75 percent cvt oil at 40k odo. Pan opening was done in April n only 500 km odo past after that.

Always need to buy the 1 litre pack for oil change, till the next oil change the leftover lubricant is already gone.

No nothing happens with left over..one can manage it easily. I keep bottle tightly closed. Use all the left over oil in next change and store new leftover from fresh container

Yaar its a simple process.
Drain, and measure the drained oil.
Pour in same quantity with just 50ml more.

I went to dealership..they said

If u don't clean the pan, we won't take any guarantee of transmission. Full time inkaar. Also, mentioned that we do this daily and we know the quantity of oil removed when pan is removed. Warranty drama on its peak

I can share whole pdf of k313 cvt here by aisin japan. There is nothing in it like opening pan or something. You can show that to toyota stupid internee mechanics. They will never agree to you unless you complain them to toyota japan. Screw them. They never claim warranty for anything. My ac compressor was bad from day one and they kept saying gas kam hai or ac filter ganda hai during warranty. As soon as the warranty ends they were like, it's a bad compressor.
Go to my mechanic yaar.

Jalil is also a mechanic boy there. Tell them to do it just like you did for Haseeb's car..
Open drain nut, open inner leveling plastic tube.
Drain oil in empty can, measure and pour same quantity with just 50ml more in it.

Cvt will loose 600ml-800ml at every pan opening if they fill 3.8L oil.
After 165k kms service. Cvt lasts max upto 200k kms with around 2.0L of underfill that is performed by toyota stealerships. After that people face cvt failure and toyota stealerships gives a label that cvt ki itni hi life hoti hai sir.
Above mentioned mechanic of mine changed whole cvt of a grande which met same fate..
85000rs is the price of k313 cvt kaabli.

I agree to haseeb bhai, day before yesterday i called one of the 3s dealerships and asked that i intend bringing my own engine oil fully synthetic 5w-30, so are you people ok with it. The reply was hilarious. He said sir for your corolla, taglon is there. Taglon x is only launched for toyota yaris. And he was of the view that taglon x is fully synthetic and if you poured that oil in your corolla we would not be responsible for any consequences. So this is the level what they do to their customers. Khair, i called it a day and immediately emailed to IMC, waiting for their reply

That's why I stay of CVTi or any fancy new techs in Pakistan yahan log engine oil thek se change nai kartay let alone complex things.
