Thanks..then for not opening pan, once should replace multiple times in 2-3 days to make sure all oil is replaced. We would need 2cvt oil packs for this..6 times replacement means almost 100% replacement but by mixing in old oil and draining

Is there any possibility to install sound amplifier without cutting factory wiring? Want jack to jack installation. Suggestions needed on the matter coz sound quality of altis isn't good enough.

Yaar its a simple process.
Drain, and measure the drained oil.
Pour in same quantity with just 50ml more.

why people are opening pans? they it got debris inside. by this logic we should open the engine block as well rather just opening drain plug and filter in engine oil change.
very confusing it has become.
personally i want to go with that haseeb has suggested.

People aren't. Toyota stealerships are forcing them to do so with a lollipop of warranty. The so called warranty won't be claimed if your cvt face issue.
A friend of mine followed same procedure at toyota dealership. His cvt was never claimed under warranty after he faced issue after a week.

lesson learnt: pan should not be opened at all. do they close the pan with genuine gaskit or silicon?

They close the pan with genuine gasket. It can work once after opening. For the second time, you need to change gasket.

Anybody looking for a new fuel filter in budget?
Well I searched a lot and couldn't find any. Toyota sells complete fuel filter assembly worth 12000rs from market alone. I was looking for filter only and found this. On a serious note. Its too costly if you keep the drain intervals of 5k kms and its synthetic not fullysynthetic. Also I cannot see any api certification donut on this. I would suggest you to use total 0w20 or 5w30 instead. Purchase it from offical total parco store from daraz.pk
Nothing is more authentic then getting oil from company directly.

currently using total 5w30 but car sound is not smooth after 4k kms
not too rough but on hard acceleration it is not that good

There will be both type of handbrakes depending on the trim level.

Corolla hatch has ebrake. Some countries also got ebrake in hybrid version.

I wish Indus introduces the hybrid version in Pakistan. Thailand has it so there might be a possibility. However, it would be a first for any local assembler to sell locally assembled hybrid in Pakistan. The ebrake pic I posted above is from the toyota thai brochure.

Only Hybrid version has ebrake. Rest of the models have conventional handbrake.

I'm sure about the excitement but not so sure about the Asian Altis in it's latest design, I feel Toyota designers lost the plot somewhere and put together a low slung 90s Elantra with cutouts and a huge bum.I'm getting old and i drive an Altis too but i'll pass on this one and the US version also, it looks like a fish about to expire, I hope they don't charge a king's ransom for this car if they launch it in Pak. It ain't worth it, acc. to me. The suspension has to be reworked for south asian roads.
