Probably getting it sorted out and fixed permanently would be good from the dealership because it really annoys me as well when seats are making all weird noises when driving alone.

My Altis 1.6 is March 2018 invoiced and today I contacted my dealership Toyota Central motors regarding fuel pump call back and they said we have a list and your vehicle doesn't come in that list and hence doesn't need any replacement
I don't know exactly what to do now as it's a 2018 model

Claim it in warranty
My car chasis was not in the list for oil pump recall but dealership told me to claim it in warranty which I didn't

Don't worry about it as it also happened to me and I also own 2018 Altis 1.6
You're in a safe zone and you don't need to worry about fuel pump issue as I confirmed it from three different dealerships and they asked me the chassis number of my Altis and then they told me that my Altis 1.6 chassis is not in the list that they have got from Toyota Indus Motors.

You don't need to claim it in warranty, if the Chassis number of your car is not in the list that the dealerships got from Toyota Indus, then you don't need to worry about that specific problem.
I don't suggest you mess up any parts of your car if they are not giving you any problem. Once it got opened, then welcome to spending most of your time on dealerships adjusting and rectifying the problems again and again.

I've also received msg from Toyota airport motors for fuel pump replacement for my 1.6, march, 2019. Talked to the service guy who told that fault outcome is overheating of fuel pump and subsequent sudden stoppage of car or not able to start.
The weird thing is, before the msg, i had been asking indus motors through their sms service regarding the call back campaign on fuel pump. They simply denied that no such campaign currently running. Once i got the msg from dealership i fwd it to them asking why were they so ignorant about it. As a response started asking dumb questions like from which number u got the msg etc. Afterwards told me to wait while they will confirm it. Let's see when they reply
