Now this is funny. I got the msg from Toyota airport motors as following.....
"Urgent action is required for your Corolla having chasis # ********* as Toyota is doing a fuel pump recall campaign. Please bring your car on Urgent basis to get your fuel Pump changed free of cost. Pump failure will lead to your car not starting and stopping without advance symptoms.
Please Contact immediately 03481118882"
Once i contacted Indus Motors, they had no idea at all about it. After a lot of info sharing, this is finally what they told me.
"Please be informed that this is not a Call-Back Campaign it's "Toyota's Fuel Pump Replacement" offer which is for selected vehicles. As per our records, your vehicle is not eligible for this offer at the moment."
This is absurd. How can there be so huge communication gaps within a company
