Toyota corolla engine swap

I want to swap my Toyota corolla 2015 gli engine because previous engine get weak. Should I install the same 2nzfe 1.3 engine or should I go for the 1nzfe 1.5 engine. Because someone gave me advice to put 1.5. It is better in power and less in price.

My sincere suggestion would be to get the current, stock engine rebuild / overhauled, using genuine, OEM parts, as per factory specifications, and from some good garage / mechanic.

I believe, all relevant parts are easily available in the markets.

It has driven nearly 1lack 50 thousand. Engine ka hose pipe phat gya tha jiski waja sy dust chali gae thi engine mai and valves damage hogy thy engine k. And ek bar driver ny Gari heat b kr di thi

Pistons are making very annoying voices. Also burns the engine oil. In 1000 kilometers it burns half litre engine oil when I take it to the long journey. It likes the engine is shouting. The car also got heated by my driver one time.

150000 is mid life of a X-NZ-FE series engines.
hose pipe damage means engine overheated and gaskit needed replacment.

visit a shop which can perform compression test, if dry & wet readings are over & above 160 psi get the head job done. mechanic can check for head warp causing piston noise, if it is out of specs source only head.

you have choice to simply buy a complete head from scrap yard rebuilt it by replacing oem new gaskit valves & lifters ( dabbo ). engine will be fresh new . Use only 5w-30 or 10W-30 engine oil grade and engine will again pull over 200,000 kms more.

Rebuild the engine with the required parts sourced, don't go for an engine swap as it will ruin the resale.
