Toyota Corolla gli 1.6 2006 model fuel average. I am planing to buy 2006 model gli and friend said it's 1.6 manual car. Any one can help me about the car how it works and whats the average fuel consumption?

My quiry is about 1.6 manual gli or xli not sure about but it's manual transmission car . Car is in great condition . Anyone who can tell me average fuel consumption of the car or petrol and cng . BTW car is still use by first owner never in accident never installed cng . One hand beautiful car.

Gli or xli came with 1.3, there was no 1.6 in them. 1.6 is SE saloon and comes with goodies like ABS, Power windows and an airbag. It’s a good car and gives around 10-12 intercity with light foot. On long routes it improves upto 3kmpl. A friend owns it ,I don’t have personal experience. And there is both a manual and automatic variant.

SE Saloon was replaced by Altis 1.8 before 2006, I think. Are you sure about engine capacity and model year?

Yes I am sure it's 2006 manual transmission 1.6

Before July 2005 1.6 variant was badged as SE saloon which was without ABS after the launch of Altis 1.8 engine (Face lift of all variants)both Altis and 2.0D Saloon were equipped with ABS.
Better get the subject car inspected it might be a Gli with engine swap.

Sorry everyone I just reconfirm by myself. It's 1.3 gli 06 model manual transmission on petrol . Now I am very clear about car . If you guys can tell me now about it

Depends upon condition. Gli is a popular variant nonetheless.
Pros: This specific model is very popular in Rural areas due to good ground clearance.
Cons: Brakes of this shape are not considered to be very good. One has to be a little careful.

it was replaced in 2007 as ive seen se saloon with facelift crystal lights whereas before 2006 corolla came with tail lights which had a bulb in them.

There was no gli 1.6 at that time , i think you have confused it with se saloon as that was 1.6 or the owner has put the sticker of gli on it .

The car is comfortable in fact one of the most comfortable i sat in but maybe that was because it had larger rims and thin tires of yokohama but still its comfortable, since its a manual so fuel economy will be ok.

Oh so its a gli, well dont depend on it in emergency situations at all cuz it wont stop at all so avoid driving it at high speeds, interior is just ok not something special as the competition . Its good for heavy duty work but at this time i also doubt that .

Roughly saying, a 1.3 Manual Corolla will give you an average of around 12-13 km per litre in city (Smooth Traffic) and around 14-15 km per litre on Highways. It's highly variable and dependant on a lot of factors

And if you're buying a Manual 1.3 Corolla, you shouldn't be worried about the fuel average because it is the best you can get. If you want a better fuel average in this range, then buy Honda City

The fuel efficiency of honda city is over rated as i didnt found it that much fuel efficient, you want fuel economy buymehran or cultus.

Well, Gli 1.3 Manual in this particular generation has the best fuel average in the entire lineup, will do around 12-14 if engine is in good health, well maintained and if you're driving with a light foot, it'll do about 14-15.5 or 16 even on highway
