Toyota Corolla GLI 2015 Model Immobilizer

Hey All,
Is this possible to get an immobilizer in 2015 GLI manual transmission Model ? Actually i Have bought a Car Toyota Corolla GLI 2015 December Model and it has an immobilizer but im so confused after someone told me that immobilizer was introduced after 2016 August models...... Please guide.... Car key has console on it and its bolder key

No immobilizer in 2014-2016 Mid year
1st MMC (minor model changes) occurred in mid 2016 models onward with the addition of airbags & immobilizer and second face lift model was introduced in August 2017 with many new features.

I had GLI auto 2015 model and after addition of immobilizer in newer models, i went to showroom in November 2016 to get information if immobilizer unit can be installed or not and they said that it is NOT POSSIBLE due to ECU issues etc etc (can't recall much) however they offered me to exchange my old model with new one (GLI to GLI) and 2 weeks delivery time or less. after inspecting my car they offered me that i had to pay 150k more to get the new one. It was low driven and 3s maintained. I sold the car later to other party in 2017.

How will it modify ECU ?

if my 2015 has an immobilizer then how come ? according to the owner from whom i bought Toyota dealership offered him a package of 1 lac in which they gave navigation, backview cam, fog lights, keyless entry/Immobilzer key and front chrome grill

They would have offered him key less entry but no immobilizer. \
And Toyota will not let you add anything in the factory chahay jitni bhi jaan pehchan ho. All items are added/installed in the showroom after the car arrives there so there is no way immobilizer could have been added later. I know people in head office of Toyota and begged them to install a grande lcd in my Gli from the factory so no wiring issue but they refused.
Ya tou owner ne desi immobilizer add kia hoga RFID wala which are crap. Its just a lie its not a real immobilizer.

I am very much sure! why would make it up! even i got the remote key-less entry system for my GLI but no IMMOBILIZER. This was another reason why i sold the car! and also i wouldn't spend a dime on tracker system which drained the battery as well as the key less system.

if there is a immobilizer, can you check the left side of the audio unit if red light is blinking with a lock and car sign. check this out when your car is stationary. not moving.

or simple experiment, try to start your car with a duplicate key! if it starts, then there is no immobilizer and if not then it has the unit!

yeah i ll do the experiment and let you know ,even a person from Pak wheels who came for car inspection claimed that the car key is immobilizer key

It would be better if you attach a pic of the key itself so that people get a better idea

once the duplicate key is entered in ignition, the check engine light will be 'blinking' which is a proof that immobilizer is active and the key is not the immobilizer compatible one - i.e without programmed chip.obviously whatever one can do, the car will not start.

That car didnt get started if you watch till the end of the video, it only took sulf as people call it but didnt start because of the immobilizer.
