Hi Guys,
Is there reverse camera feature available with GLI 2019 ? If not is it possible to install it before booking the car through toyota ?

Nope before booking Toyota does not allow you to add accessories even if you have pawa .

I wanted the Grande LCD in my Gli and was ready to pay that 80K for the LCD as long as they did that at the factory and even with pawa they said no. Showroom ayye gi gaari wahan change karwa lain. Waisay their LCD is not worth 80K its not that great. I got the same in 16K in 100% working condition used.

Better to buy any aftermarket Chinese lcd . And if you have the GLi auto then its infotainment system with the tiny screen is camera ready .

Aftermarket le lein if needed. Dealerships also sell those and installnfor u aftrr delivery but not before the car is delivered. Beware of warranty temper also

My uncle has a 2018 Gli M/T.

It doesn't have an infotainment system, so don't expect a rearview camera. It has a medium sized regular radio which shows a few modes.

It didn't have alloy wheels, my uncle had to install aftermarket ones.

It does have an immobilizer, keyless entry with the trunk opener, I believe it has dual airbags as well but no confirmation.

2018 Gli does have air bags and the infotainment system of Manual and Auto Gli is different.

Auto one is camera ready while manual one is not

I felt much more engine noise and road noise in the cabin. Could be due to tires being changed. Overall, if anyone is contemplating to purchase A/T GLi then be aware it’s hella underpowered. Go for an M/T, if no, then consider a 1.6 variant, 4 lakhs expensive variant it should be better.

Thank you for suggestions people, I'll surely look into them. Any advice should I go for GLI 2019 or is there any other car you'll advise. I need a car for only office purpose, the route it will go is only from home to office and office to home.

If power isn't your main concern then go for GLi M/T, eyes closed.
Though as addressed by the respected member above, M/T might lack features than an A/T.

Also, A/T has failed in terms of power, A/T isn't a wise choice.

If you prefer some power and A/T with features tacked in, then I would advise you to get an Altis 1.6, it has everything of your needs and it will not feel underpowered.

If resale value is your concern, then I’d like to inform you that 1.3 variants (Xli, Gli) have better resale value compared to Altis 1.6 and Grande 1.8.

My personal opinion would be to get a 1.6 Altis, being an owner of a Pre FL 1.6 myself, I would say it's satisfactory.

FL Altis 2.6M (new)
Pre-facelift Altis 2.1-2.2M (depending on condition)
Facelift GLi 2.4M (new)

Nowadays manual gli has less resale then a/t. Time has changed..now 1.6 and 1.8 gives better resale. 1.8 is competing well with civic both being in same price category. I know my few friend selling grande from 2015-and 2016..all cars went over actual invoice price..may be due to increased prices. Currently...any auto car has better resale than manual counterpart.. thanks to horrible traffic

People have now understood that bigger engines are nore fuel efficient..city 1.5 sells at a great value and even better when automatic compared to 1.3 variant. I don't see any reason in getting an under powered gli for just marginally less than 1.6 1.6 is just so so much better.. although my friends who got new 1.6 were actually sad why they didn't opt for any 1.8 model... minimum 1.6..for a car of Corolla size. Internationally there is no Corolla 1.3 for a reason

Auto. Easy drive. Better resale. Manual ka time giya. But will depend on ur budget also. Gli and gli auto are both good cars. If u give me a choice btw the two i will spend a little more and get auto if i could. Best of luck

Solely depends on the user’s preference... Though it is true that Auto is comforting to drive in a stop and go traffic. There's not much space in highways to speed up anyways, having excessive power is unnecessary.
