Need help i have corolla altis and its about 7 months i purchased. Its very less used. Need some help. Whenever i start the car and it moves it makes a weird noise from back. Today when i started the car and put the gear to R the car didnt moved on its own and when i give race it made a very weird sound from back and weird noise was coming from tyres for atleast 5-10min in drive afterwards it finished.Can any one guide what can be the issue?The car is very less used. Around 1000km in 7 months.
i guess the brake shoes are jamming,r u using hand brake while parking the car?
just put the gear in P and let the hand brake un engaged,
Yes first i put hand brake than put car in P.
do u park on slope? can u just park the car with gear in P and wihtout engaging hand brake?
No i park on flat surface. Ok ill try parking only on P and will not engage the handbrake. Lets see if the issue is solved.Thanks brother.
Better to get it checked from 3S dealership and you didnt get the 1,000 inspection done ?
Yes i got the 1000km service.Contacted toyota they told me this is normal in new cars which are not used much. They explained me everything properly.
