Guys my 1zz runs on the original 3zz ecu atm with some wire voodoo done. I wanna know how much is a 1zz ecu plus is it just a sinple ecu swap with some wire connector swaps or is the rabbit hole deeper

I think japanese 1zz has different connectors because I have seen 1zz pinouts which are totally different than our 3zz. They are close to there counter part 1nz in Japan. Even the connector on 1nz corolla and 1zz corolla of those years are same

Fuses should be behind the passenger side dashboard.

Their are some fuses behind the ash tray in 10th Generation (2008-2014) Corolla aswell. Not sure about this model.

Don't understand why they don't even bother to change the fuse box cover. My cover also shows all the headlight fuses and relays locations like yours. But they are not present there.
Yes A second fuse box can be seen by removing glove box and looking under the dashboard. But there are relays which are almost unreachable.

I have 1 dumba in my house, we are the 1st owner so it came to me from showroom on Day 1 till today and from day 1, I found that some fuses and relays were intentionally not there so no need to worry.

PKDM version has not filled /utilized complete fusebox

As I discussed earlier about whistling sound while pressing clutch.. I got gear served by 3S ...pressure plate bearing was faulty...clutch plate was worn out aswell...So replaced both as well as got new genuine pressure plate..

So issue resolved also became smooth like makhan

Althou when the bearing fails, mechanics usually suggest to replace the bearing before it causes more damage.

With me in WagonRs case i also prolonged changing the bearing unless the clutch plate / Pressure plate had started failing.

this way had to leave the car once as both things required equal labour.

Could someone confirm if the clutch pedal assembly ( where the pedal rod is connected to the spring) is independent of the brake pedal's. The parts seller said it's different for the Brake and the clutch. My mechanic says they have the same assembly where both the pedals are atrached. Note: my engine was a auto to manual convert which is why i suspect it is joined. Could some manual owner confirm please.

updates on my Corolla.

after the rings changed and valve seals replacement, The car had been doing rough idle at cold starts. would get normal as tempreture rose.

tried fiddling around with the throttle body, coolant temperature sensor, other small things, vacuum leaks nothing fixed it, day before yesterday i left the car with the mechanic to let him see what happens. Because it started dyeing.

He told me the VVT (VTEC) was faulty they couldnt find one, repaired the old one, still on the look out for the new one, Till then the car is okay.

Drove the car on some rough patches, Rear left has started squeeqing again, And the wheel bearing / Gear bearing sound wont go away.

for now

Rough idle at cold start is temporarily fixed
Rear suspension Sqeeqing
and some bearing noise from the front left.

Besides that the car is smooth gave me 9.5 kmpl on the last full tank.

VVTI sensor also disturbs idling and drops RPM.
