My rear trailing arm moves very badly in pot holes and breakers and also makes a lot of noise inside and outside of the car. I found out that they are rusted near wheel arches and both sides. Does anyone have faced this issue and what is the proper method to solve it?

This is a common happening with all dumba's but you took a long time to realize it - anyways take it to a wel-training denter he will fix with metal sheet weld.

Does this cause the noise from the back and the trailing arm looks moving if you see from the back?

Can be possible lingering rusted sheet parts can contact around and cause noise.

Get this properly done along with undercoating the curves after denting work.

Yes it is at the painter atm, since it already has the resale value of a fried potato and i have no intention to sell it i'm going for a full color swap, i've already delayed it by 4 months. Current paint considerations are(these have to be Factory spec cuz I don't trust painters with custom jobs) civic's electric blue, hilux/sportage red/ rallye red/ japanese Civic's red (this is harder than local paints). Was previously thinking of the dark blue/black in the new corolla/fortuner but that would only be the result if i get it from the company otherwise it would just be a black that doesn't shift

Wailaikum Assalam.
It will fit but wouldn't be bolt on. Both engine share similar head design and intake manifold, although 1nzfe runners are little thick.

I think the 2nz cover is better because it looks sleek rather than huge cover of R1nz.

Will the the Axio 1NZ top cover fit to the old 2001-2002 X Corolla 1NZ with the 2NZ-like top cover?
