From last 2 weeks, I noticed performance degradation of A/c of my Dumba Corolla so today took it to Bashir Autos, Tariq Road which showed that condenser is leaked very minor plus there were oil (seem selen type) near compressor so they thought it could be seal failure.
Anyhow after opening, when brought in water with pressure, it showed no sign of leakage from compressor but they told that oil was leaking during operation so better to replace seal and associated inside rings too.
Condensor was 3 years old and it was of brand Snowflake but they refused to repair as it was due to rust not because of accidental damage so as per them, it is not wise to repair it.
Anyways they did job, Snowflake new condenser was of 6,500 while Brand Breeze was of 8,000 so I opted to go for breeze branded compressor this time.
Total time taken: 5-6 hours approximately with lots of break time while expense of 18, 450 are as follows:
