the AT in ur car takes Toyota type IV atf, u can use ATF-WS but better stick to type IV.
watever u do but never pour CVT oil in it.
20W-50 is too thick, u can gradually move towards thinner oil in order:
try 10w-40 if u feel engine reving freely with no blowby or blue smoke from exhaust, then move on to even thinner oil.
Actuay people want that if 3 liter oil is poured into en engine, exact same quantity shud be there on oil change.
Many engines, German, Japanese, Italian do consume some oil and if the oil consumption is under tolerence level of manufacturer then i think nothing to worry about.
1zzfe, powerplant in ur car had been notorious for excessive oil consumption, you can google it up, but toyota fixed some oil rings else to resolve this issue.
to minimize the oil consumption, people pour the universal oil of ustaads which is 20w-50 and too thick for any engine beyond stoneage era.
so just do some research and be confident on ur decesion.
