I have good experience with swap.There r many types of used engines.Some are from Singaporean.While some are japanese.Japanese engines are a little expensive but they r the best.One can check it,s condition by looking at radiator,s pipes cleanliness.And by opening valve cover to check its color and condition.It should be shiny silver or golden.Not with black residues on the cams.Also by checking it's spark plugs condition.Take a trustable mechanic with u who u r sure about will not deceive u for his own profits later on.

Nowadays 2NZFE engine in good condition costs around 140 to 150 k .. i have checked from Bilal Gunj and Rawalpindi... Overhaul is estimated 60 to 75 k..... What's the better option, if i get a good mechanic and give him original parts required myself, should i go for overhaul or swap

I think overhauling is the better option but only if done correctly - absolutely according to specs.

For swap, I guess you would also need to have vehicle’s docs updated and that from a resale perspective can make a difference.

I have seen many people putting injectors of any other car. Like 1.3 or 660cc car injectors in rollas. What are the pros n cons if putting other injectors in rollas ? Any recommendations for 3zzfe injectors ?

Expensive but better than roadside mechanics. Atleast they do it in dust free environment.

Never interchange fuel injectors in Dumba/ Rolla or in any other car. ECU and other sensors will be unable to judge flow rate being oversized/ undersized injectors and readings will be disturbed which can cause Lean

i have made a purchased decision for 2007 1.8 Altis with fresh 1ZZ replaced some winning sound in automatic gear looks like need a replacements rest is all good. I have kept Liana Eminent for 8 year and enjoyed it hope Altis is going to be more fun

seems like only head assembly has been swapped keeping the old transmission,

The transmission start whining with age, nothing u can do about it except fully service or replace it which wont be anywhere near cheap, might be 50% cost of the car itself.

But i dont think it would affect functionality of car beside whining in lower gears only

Since i switched from suzuki it feel luxurious, the weight of the car and interior feeling is awesome, loving all the leather seats, door panel and dash.

the autogear i have checked is available for 75K assuming ATF, Labour mounting etc will take up to 100K, the power to weight ratio is awesome, the long stroke 1zz make you feel like driving a diesel car since it is torque at lower RPMS,
does 60 with only 1400RPM, 100 with 2400RPM, fuel economy expecting to be 9.5 to 10 since all the plugs are brown and tail pipe has no TAR
